Oh, hi again Anadi! I wanted to mention-the tea bag brand I used was “stash brand” black chai tea bags. I only used these tea bags in addition to the “Pinky up brand” so I could save some of my loose black chai latte tea mix. ( Amazons price was a little more costly, and I was just trying to not use too much of the loose tea). Like I said earlier-I am NOT a tea expert. But, overall-you should be proud of your recipe! I LOVE it!! 🥰👏👏👏👏

Hi Anadi! I wish to thank you so much for this video and recipe for making the iced gingerbread chai latte drink. I went ahead and made your version-with one exception-I used planet oat milk (original) instead of regular milk in the chai tea. I think your recipe will be a hit-and here’s why: You made 3different elements. 1.) we have the home-made gingerbread syrup, which made approx. 10 ounces. This can be stored in the fridge and be ready for future use if craving the Starbucks version of the iced gingerbread chai latte drink. 2.) the dry gingerbread spice blend. I have extra-probably enough for 2 more Starbucks chai drinks 3.) your chai latte tea drink. Here is the best part-I probably have enough chai latte tea -for about 4 more servings. Let’s face it-there is nothing better than using fresh ginger, green cardamon pods-freshly ground, white and black pepper, along with all the other spices. I am not a tea expert-but here is what I used to make this tea. I had loose chai black tea ( pinky up brand-buy through Amazon), and used 3 heaping Tbsps. Next, I added in to the ginger hot water-2tea bags of chai black tea-and allowed it to boil and simmer (steep for a good 6 minutes). I kinda felt like a mad scientist-standing over this brew(ha-ha), for sweetener, I added 1 packet of Truvia ( sugar sweetener). So, with all 3 elements, I can choose to drink the chai latte cold with ice cubes and skip the cold foam. That is the beauty of this tea drink. Using vanilla extract is great in this tea. I think your version of the Starbucks drink is tastier, the pepper comes through deliciously. We women who sometimes needs to watch our calories-well-this tea is a win-win for me. There are so many options to enjoy drinking this tea. I hope that you know-I will forever be in LOVE with YOUR fantastic recipe-the best part of all-I can drink it year round, and not have to wait to have it-just for the holidays!

I am excited about your recipe! I have made the gingerbread spice mix-but had to order some cardoman pods. I think it makes sense to add the black and white peppers to this gingerbread mix. Also, it will be economically worth it. I will let you know how this comes out-as soon as I can get these other ingredients. Thank you for sharing!😊

I'm so glad you'll try out the gingerbread spice - the cardamom is so worth it, especially when you add white and black pepper! I can't wait for you to try this out - please let me know how it goes! I'd love for you to share!
