I can't believe I just saw one of my brother's childhood friends. I recognised the face and the voice and it took me a while for it to click! Well done Marc!

That’s awesome! It’s always great to run into old friends. By the way, what was your brother’s name?

@@Marcabed Thomas El Basha. I tried the recipe and my family really liked it. I think I made the stock too thin by putting too much water and I should have added more salt and garlic. Will try that next time. I hope you and your family in Lebanon are safe.

Thank you for showing me how to make this. My mother Samia passed away a few years ago so now I try to make things for my father, wassim the same or better. I can make everything except this dish so I hope I can live up to the standards my parents were used to. Thank you again

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm sorry for your loss. It's beautiful how you're honoring your parents through cooking. Keep experimenting, I'm sure you'll master the moulokiyeh dish soon and I'm here if you ever need any help or advice. Sending you lots of encouragement!

This is amazing, my friend's mother used to make it for me and I love it. Now I'm far away and can't have it prepare. Can you let me know the name of the fresh green leaf use please? Thank you
@Marcabed Жыл бұрын
In Lebanese cuisine, we refer to it as "Mloukhieh," while in English, it's known as "jute mallow".

Hello Nadia, I’ve noticed that vinegar and onions are commonly used in Lebanon, but I understand it's not your preference. I’m curious to hear what you like instead.
