A couple years ago i got a bunch of pyrex and anchor hocking glass cookware... much of it that will fit inside my convection counter top oven. We use that for the most part because we just don't eat enough to fill a big oven up. If you wait for sales you can get some awesome deals. Thrift stores and yard sales can also get you some great bargains. If you can find some used small cast iron pots they will work fantastic in the glassware.

I'm always on the lookout for cast iron stuff. It isn't very easy to find around here. Anyway, my wife and daughter insist on washing my cast iron stuff with soap and water. I can't seem to get them to stop.

Willows Garden Goodwill is a good place to buy glass cookware if it doesn't need to be perfect, but it's a good idea to know what it costs new. Sometimes Goodwill stuff is more expensive than it should be.

You are right, we have one here that is really too expensive, just way over priced. I have found several nice items at Goodwill. I like going to yard sales and thrift stores, seems most times I can find something good. :) xxxx

Where did you find a white ASSC? I've only ever seen yellow ones.

I know you like yard sales. They can be great, and they can be not so good. One thing I hate, though, is when people don't take their signs down afterwards.

Thanks. I DID get some great deals. I think both of the casserole dishes (the round and square) may have originally had tops, but I don't care. The Pyrex pie plate fits almost perfectly onto the round casserole dish, and a roasting bag could easily work with the square casserole dish. The main point of the video, however, was to point out that if you go to thrift stores, yard sales, and those kinds of places, you can find very useful things for inexpensive money. That, and I'm promoting my giveaway contest, HA!
