This is the BEST part of the whole "Out of Spec" network! I enjoy EV tech, but new cars bore the heck out of me. It's more fun to see old cars being rescued from the junk yard and fixed up like these Land Rovers.

This seems like a great idea since you get the looks of the classic and the performance of the modern with a design that is standardized. I liked that row of knobs for the controls, I wish I saws that on other cars. He should add a volume knob in there. Whereas in England you have to make the car so that you can convert it back this leverages the advantage classic car EV conversions have here which is that you can change as much as you want.

Brilliant idea to keep the chassis the same so they are interchangeable they look amazing, I really hope this takes off as they are very well made I love the Landrover and the Bronco hard to choose from either one as I am a land-rover fan so let's hope this company makes it all the way as they are producing some amazing vehicles if I had the money I would be buying one for sure.

I am a fan of restoring classic vehicles including electric conversions. These are beautifully done but cost prohibitive just like the other classic restoration businesses. $289k for a conversion of this nature makes it a toy of the wealthy and something to be admired but is unlikely have a significant impact in the restoration space or environmental space for that matter. Hopefully economies of scale will make not only the finished product more accessible but kits and or kit parts for the do it yourself crowd. I myself and looking forward to the work Edison motors is doing in converting medium to heavy duty trucks like the F250-F550 , Dodge 2500, etc.

Thanks for the discovery. High quality products but it is not classics conversion to electric. Only the shape is classic. They don't compete with EV converters as they offer almost entirely new cars.

Waiting for conversion kit for a Honda odyssey mini-van. I will wait for the battery and motors to be more competitive in pricing. being all electric will be good for all the camping items. i also need to power a CPAP machine as well. well see what the future brings and to me electric is the way to go. power, control, programming, etc. i always think there is only one way to get and make gasoline-many more options for ways to generate electricity. If we cut down on using fossil fuels we will have more clear days for solar power Bill C PS: I'm sure some will say just get a Toyota Sienna mini-van-still gasoline engine-no Bueno

That's a lovely vehicle, but it's not a 1965 Land-Rover. It's just the bonnet and maybe the side panels? Not the chassis, any of the running gear, the bulkhead, the doors, the wings Bor the tub. I'd gladly own one, but don't pretend it's a converted classic, it's a brand new vehicle styled to look a bit like an old one.
