I have found this difficult to work with. I have used it to make a ring. It was almost like rubber to work with and adding water did not make slip. I could not join the 2 ends and it would not stay in the ring shape like art clay does

Hi Jessica, if the clay felt too firm, or like rubber as you put it, we recommend conditioning it before use. This can be done by rolling and folding the clay to achieve the desired consistency. You should be able to join the two ends with water, and hold them together for at least 30 seconds. If the ends are dry, you'll want to apply the water and let it soak a little before connecting (as shown). If you're still having trouble joining the two ends with water, try creating a thick homemade paste or use syringe to close the ring.
