Yep, unsubscribed. I watched as I have hard to remove water spots but by the end of the video, I still don't know what he used. That was a waste of time. Click bait and shows lack of respect to his viewers to treat them like that. "Hey watch this (so my view counter increases) to learn something, but I actually won't tell you anything by the end of it). I even spent 5 minutes scrolling through the responses looking to see if he replied to a guess and finally told us which was correct, but still nothing.

Mix Distilled water and Vinegar 70/30 ratio. Don’t need a lot of vinegar for it. Worked on my windows and mirrors just fine. My truck is white so the spots don’t bother me. I just used a rag to apply it as I didn’t have an empty spray bottle. If you still have a few tiny spots after the first wipe, do it a second time. The reason I remember that distilled water works is because it’s also used to clean chandeliers. If you use regular water (most likely hard water from your faucet) with vinegar it won’t work. That’s why all the videos out there aren’t getting results from it. Try it out…😎

I haven’t seen where Scott said it wasn’t ice. But it would make sense if that’s what it is as other have mentioned. If you make ice from your tap water, it’s essentially the same water as from your hose. In the same way you can remove sharpie with sharpie off of non porous surfaces, you should be able to remove the dried water deposits by rewetting them with the same water. Also, rubbing the ice on the glass would act as an abrasive to help in the removal? Sounds possible. Although I’m no scientist lol

Okay now I'll hit the subscribe button, hey i thought of something...do you have to be in the shade for this to work or can the sun be out? Okay,so sorry I'm gonna hit the subscribe button now....hold up....does it work on any color of car? What if my car is silver? Okay, let me scroll back up and find that subscribe button, there it is! Oh gosh I forgot....does the engine have to be running? Cause I think that may matter don't you think? I would certainly think that is a factor in this working properly. But anyways back to hitting that subscribe button....shucks just one more thing....what if i have hard water build up on my windows and a bit of bird poop too? I mean i can't stop the birds from pooping on my car... well i guess I could if i park it in the garage...or you know i could just get a cover for it, but then I'd have to take it on and off whenever I want to drive it. Wouldn't it be cool if cars had the technology to have a built in cover? You sorta like a convertible? You push a button and bam out comes a car cover, oh buy wait what if you were driving and you accidentally hit that button? Hahahaaa you'd be in a world of hurt.....gosh what was i suppose to do after i left these questions and comments? Oh well it may come to me later.... thanks

I did not think of ice cube but after seeing all the answers below I considered how the liquid that appeared as you rubbed was so consistent no matter where you rubbed that it made sense. At first I was trying to think of a fruit or veggie that would have so much liquid. But it did not run out nor have any smears when you wiped it dry. I did run upstairs and put an ice cube in the eye of my grandchild and it was cold but did not harm them. So, it's ice alright.

You guys are over thinking this. Just use a Magic Eraser. I had the same problem and at another time I had stains from the ocean water in the air in Florida. After going crazy trying to get them off I had a used Magic eraser and tried that. It worked great and with hardly any work. Just make sure it stays wet. Now At home I have a CLEAN one dedicated for the windows only. I would NOT use it on the paint and not on the inside of the windows. Invisible Glass for the inside and Rain X spray for the outside. Try it.

It is ice only. I just tried it and it worked to get the main spot off. Unfortunately I have a truck that has not been washed or cared for in years, so I need a more than what ice will do. But I did try the ice where the water dried from just washing it yesterday and it worked!

Well, those deposits tend to be basic in nature (Calcium deposits for one). My guess is that you would use an acidic compound to counter-act it and my best guess is a lemon which explains why the window turns wet. I'll try this at home and report back.

Since he said you can eat/drink it, I'm assuming it's lemon juice. It's acidic. I know acidic wheel cleaner works for water spots on paint. So I'm guessing lemon juice, although i wouldn't drop it in my eye as scott said.

If he says lemons/lemon juice I'm gonna to say BS. I'm just a guy from SoCal with a lemon tree in my backyard, not a pro detailer like Scott, but I've tried lemons. Nothing but a streaky, sticky mess. Almost had to rewash the car to clean up.
