Very well done. I appreciate the camera quality and audio. At no point was there obnoxious music or exceedingly loud feedback from the tools. I really like the fact you didn't use any excessive material. Everything seemed to be calculated to use the perfect amount of consumables while maintaining a clean shop. I didnt realize how much I enjoyed that until I noticed it. Most importantly, you didn't artificially corrode something and try to pass it off as "ancient". I like your delivery and style.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. These are the BEST restoration videos on youtube. Everything is perfect. From timestamping the videos to putting explanations of what you're doing, filming enough to be interesting but not too much so it's boring. Your videos are relaxing, organized, easy to follow and have everything I want in a restoration video. Other channels, although good, just don't do it as well as this one.

@CoolAgainRestoration

Mine is old too. Has no company marks on,maybe is handmade,I don’t know. And the odie oil is very good,maybe the number one in business. But is too expensive. They ship everywhere but is expensive the shipping too. If you are from USA maybe is a way cheaper but to me was expensive because I paid the price for oil,the shipping from USA to Europe and the tax too

I'd never considered a hatchet as a candidate for a family heirloom but this most certainly qualifies. EXCELLENT WORK!

I don't understand the obsession with putting a mirror polish on working implements like knives and axes and such, so kudos to you on the simple, yet beautiful finish. It's nice but not gaudy. Phenomenal choices on wood for the handle. I love the laminated swell! Job well done, sir, all the way around.

Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed so much. I don’t like the polished axes too that’s why I try to make something different on my channel . I restored another axe 3 months ago , you will like that one too 😊 wish you all the best

+10 for using a drawknife to shape the handle...not to mention the use of the rasp. 👍 Bravo for giving that axe a second life.
