2017 JETTA p0343 CAM SENSOR

2017 Vw Jetta 1.4L CZT that triggers P0343 cam position sensor signal too high. Someone had changed the sensors but problem still there. Follow along as we diagnose.

Hey bud, I have a quick question, maybe you can point me in the right direction. I have a 2005 Golf 1.9 AT, it gives me no engine codes, drives perfectly, no signs of power loss, gets good MPGs but if I slow down to fast or get off the freeway to fast to slow down it stalls and doesn’t want to start for a couple min. It can drive non stop for hours, it idles fine with no stutter, she goes pretty good when I step on it. Only other issue is steering is stiffer than it should be, but fluid level is good. So I been thinking to do few Maintnance things and order some sensors to see what helps. - fuel filter change - air intake - check clean MAF - oil and filter change - change coolant sensor - change crank sensor - change trans speed sensor - fuse 109 change - flush steering coolant - fuel pressure regulator replace - check and clean injector plugs

dont know. Make checks as the problem happens. Ie fuel pressure from lift pump, fuel pressure from tandem pump, possibly oscilliscope on cam and crank sensors as the problem happens.

Hi I have a 2002 VW golf 1.9 tdi. My car lost prime after sitting for a week and it did not do that before. I added fuel into the injector pump and that got it started and then a day later it lost prime again. It did shake a bit at idle roughly ever 10 seconds. Do you have any suggestions of what might cause it not to bring fuel up and lose prime over night. The rubber fuel lines are new and the fuel filter is new, the fuel tank gasket looks good and there is no visible leak that I could see.

can you do a immo delete on a 2007 VW bug 2.5? If you can where can I send the cluster and ECU and how much?

I have a 04 BEW Tdi. I have no boost in 1st gear, then every other gear not hitting boost until 2.5k rpm you’ll feel it spool and rolls coal. Then got to highway speed and it threw a P0299 for under boost then I had no boost. All my vacuum lines seem good and my actuator moves if I press hard on it. It has an egr delete block off plate and a kerma tune. Have you had a car with similar issues before?

smoke, boost problems and code p0299 might indicate a boost leak.

Hi watch your video looks like u know what your’e doing, i would love your help/opinion i have 2010 mithubishi 2did(2tdi) and i have p0299 low boost and tried everything from yours video and other on KZbin (rebuild turbo, get new actuator get new pipes, new valves, new egr cooleer because The valve was stuck so i thought that was The problem but wasnt, map maf new everything.. im lossing power in 6th gear around 2300 rpm. Me and my mechanic dont know what do do.
