I remember in the Lore that Unit 2 and Unit 1 were supposed to Deploy Together during the Torrington Attack but for some Reason Unit 2 wasn't working so Unit 1 had to be deployed and luckily Unit 1's Pilot was part of the Titans and the rest is OVA History

@@nisnast very few defected to Neo-Zeon cuz they didn’t like the thought of losing to the AEUG, some probably got court-martialed, most probably stuck around and were transferred to different sections of the EF. Some went on to join the New Desides when they tried to start a coup, before being quickly mopped by the ExS Gundam. And if you take the Super Robot Wars games at face value, some very few survivors banded together and made a new squad in the EF, that were less asshole-ish by the time of Unicorn events.

The transformation looks weird because the Byarlant was designed to be a MS that can fly in atmosphere WITHOUT transformation or extra equipment.

Fun fact this version of Byarlant Custom unit 2 piloted by Riddhe Marcenas in the Unicorn Bande Dessinee, cuz his D+ wrecked quite hard by weaponless Banshee. In the end this unfortunate good looking Byarlant getting wrecked so hard by the Banshee.

I have completely customized the Zeta version, it's basically an AOZ Byarlant. I have Hazel shield boosters where the thruster tanks plug in on the Byarlant Custom, I added a large thruster per leg right behind the dog-leg area, then I installed cannons where the beam sabers get stored, and I took the top corner verniers off and replaced them with the Hrairoo Gaplant shield/cannon/booster wings. It looks friggin DOPE YO.

I don't know about the normal.gaplant, but I consider the gaplant hrairoo my favorite A.O.Z. hg kit, and it only adds extra bits to the shoulders, a new head, a tail for holding the rifle, and a blade extension to the rifle. It does however not come with the big booster, so ingress you gotta buy both!

The byrlant is by far one of my favorite grunt suits, up there with the jegan and gm sniper II. I do have one minor concern though. Does this kit develop arm issues over time due to all of the weight or does it stay fairly solid?

Byarlant is a ranged Ms by default so this kind of overkills it really For reference just the little prize grabber looking hands on the original pack a higher beam output than all normal handheld gryps era rifles

5:38 It's a really nice kit The proportions and color separation is great except for the yellow bits, but we do get a sheet of stickers for it The articulation isn't that good though because of the transformation and there aren't that many accessories but other than that I'd recommend you try it out

2:14 this sums up the design so well I love the 5 star story designs and zeta designs you should review some of the 5 star kits I would avoid some of the older kits as they need LOTS of work to he put together unless your up for the challenge.

I'm not personally a huge fan of the Unicorn redesign of the Byarlant but I have built the Zeta version and I really love that kit as well. Probably one of my favorite HGs on my shelf.

Gaplant is pretty good for what it is. It’s not as toy like as the kits you prefer in terms of assembly, it comes from the era of toothpick beam sabers, i.e., single piece opaque plastic. Poseability isn’t great, but it transforms without parts replacement and it looks really nice standing there or posed on the shelf with that enourmous booster, which can attach in both modes. If all you want is the booster though, you can get it as a p-Bandai standalone in white or titans blue.

I love the crazy designs of early to mid UC. I really do wish they made more Master Grades of these suits. Here's hoping that once the new Bandia plamo factory is completed that we'll see more kits. I noticed Mecha didn't mention the seams on this kit but they are pretty evident in the video... pretty typical for HGs. As said in the review, it seems the kit needs some love and it can look amazing.

As best as I can tell it doesn't really transform in the Zeta Gundam sense so much as it just narrows its profile somewhat while adding thrusters to the rear. Kinda like that weird version of the F90 Gundam where it's strapped inside a big-ass rocket, I guess.

I love Byarlant Custom so much... TBH I didn't like the original and didn't care at all in Zeta series but after watching the Unicorn OVA and how the small screen time it had was so badass... since then I bought about 3 of it (1 for non kit bash and 2 for customization).

The HGUC Gaplant is a really good kit. I can't quite recommend the Hrairoo variant though as the added parts just make it an arse to deal with.

Would be a nice custom for the spare parts. Probably if you have replacement for the missing parts of the claw and a few modifications, you can attach the claw and its beam cannon rather than the beam cannon like gaplant. Would be a nice alternative to have claws for close combat and suddenly the beam cannon turning into a beam saber.

Fortunately Gunpla are easy to paint because the colour accuracy is not doing this kit many favours. I'm not entirely sold on this design, feels like it skipped both arm and leg day but I really like the idea of a Byarlant with more normal MS limbs.

It also put up a great fight against the Unicorn but was only beaten by Banagher's newtype powers and an illusion of Full Frontal. The Juaggu lost to the GM semi striker after taking out like 3-4 GM 2s and Nemos

You know what’s a problem with Bandai’s management with Gunpla? A lot, they don’t make new vehicle kits, the only kits are the no grade and EX models, same goes for the mobile armors, there’s a lot of mobile suits that don’t have hg kits, namely the suits from MSV, there’s the hg origin, but the ones that come with extra accessories are P Bandai exclusive, I kind of understand that, but I would prefer to get it elsewhere, same thing with other P Bandai stuff, what’s that? A recolor of a model kit? P bandai exclusive. An obscure variant? P bandai exclusive. There are people who enjoy gunpla outside of Japan.
