If there’s anything I’ve learned from you Rich it’s to make it work. I’m a young guy working on my 1968 C10 and 1979 GMC and I don’t know what to do sometimes, but seeing you make it work, move things around, customize and making it happen makes me know I can do it. When things aren’t what they should be or seem daunting it’s just a matter slowing it down and giving things a good look over and knowing it can be done. Thanks for showing people like us what you can achieve by getting little filthier than you first thought!

Well. I keep thinking, Rich needs the sensor system from Banks without about 50 sensors so he can monitor MAD at the many points of differentiation it will have. Just like Gale says. " Boost doesn't mean anything". It's all about how much air came in and went out.

you don't need to bead roll the pipe - slather on some RTV, slide the coupler on, clamp tightly - let cure - you can even take off the clamp after about 24 hours as that RTV will not let go. To separate you have to cut off the coupler. Done it several times with excellent success. :o)

Water pump cavitation causes those spots in the water pump housing. They all have them to some extent. Hope you kept track of your angle torque on the balancer bolt, the crank will break if it is not tight enough. Great work on the truck.

after doing some reading, there is a maf setup (blow through) as its referred to where the maf can be pressurized and not be affected by boost pressures. catch is you will need to go from a single out to a Y to the intake runners but you would be able to read maf after the inter-cooler but it would allow you to still retain it or tune for speed density. the map sensor is easy, at the back of the 2 intakes run a cross over pipe/tube for the single map to read from both sides. this allows balancing at the rear cylinders and gets a decent reading for the map pressure. i hope this helps you out.

they used "dual pass" radiators on trucks that had the N14-855 Cummins engines (1988-1992) that were the 365 and famous 444hp and they work very well despite the really small hoses. I remember driving a 444 on a 80,000kg roadtrain for the first time and it was a revelation after a 350hp Big Cam. BE CAREFUL of that Aluminium swarf in large amounts, it catches on fire easily and burns like crazy.
