Jennies Garage has taught me how useful a heatgun can be for fitting and repairing plastic parts including your dilemma with fitting the radiator plastics.

Killing me with those hose clamps 🤷🏾♂️😂😂🤦🏾♂️

Really interesting that the top radiator hose goes in front where on a 92 rmx250 it goes thru the hole in the frame.

Where did you get the manuals from I desperately need a workshop manual for restoring my 1986 Honda XL 600 RM to get all the small things right but I can't find one anywhere

I also must say that you must of spent a bomb on this restoration! But fair play
@G9Garage6 жыл бұрын
Yes, to restore these bikes properly it does cost a bomb! Maybe at the end of the series i'll do a video on the cost...

I've tried to save as much as possible, My current list of replacement parts is - Front Brake Pads, Suspension bearings & seals, Nuts & Bolts + Paint & a few other bits & bobs. But generally mine hasn't cost me a fortune!
@RocanMotor6 жыл бұрын
I can't imagine how much all of these OEM parts have cost you... I chose to clean and re-use everything I can since my bike will be properly trashed after I finish rebuilding it. I would be curious to know a grand total for this build.
@G9Garage6 жыл бұрын
I've done restorations that way before (in fact i'm rebuilding a '95 WR250 that way off camera at the moment) as well and it's probably a more satisfying way to do it to be honest. In my next series I may cover that sort of resto. Cheers.
