I think that they are real DI hired for the show. They just was told to tone it down a few notches but still make it rough for the recruits.-- I was told that DI at a real boot camp would be at least twice as bad. The muffin incident would have worse penalties.

No lie, it happened in every platoon, but it was usually a fat body....... We had a cookie monster in my platoon...... If I remember correctly that's when the deck towel 5000 was invented he was getting it for being a cookie monster and I think someone lost their bearing and ended up down there with him
