The way you "sell" us viewers on every little detail, experience, service, etc. in an unbiased and honest way during your travels is a huge testament to not just your sales skills, but your honesty as well. Also really appreciated your input on the sacrifices you've made and valuing your mental health over material wealth. Living in the moment and seeking and appreciating experiences is very important thing young people such as myself need to remember. Also, I think you might find the youtube channel *Jacob's Life in Vegas* interesting (possible collab?). He's a Vegas local so you two are my go-to's for Vegas info, and you produce great content in general too. Really appreciate the quality content being cranked out, looking forward to all the future videos!

Lot of respect on your life decisions, some people just see the rewards of sacrifice but don’t understand how challenging (physically, emotionally, and spiritually) sacrifice can be.

I chose to stay at Circa for my 30th birthday after watching your videos. You and Travel Ruby have the best travel videos, especially in Vegas. Always genuine and honest opinions. I’m glad to see you back I had been waiting on you to head back to Vegas.

Thank you for that glimpse into your private life and all the fantastic content that kept me alive the last year. I love your videos and they really helped me while I was stuck in Germany not able to travel to the States and especially Vegas. When you travel to Europe don’t miss to see Greece, Santorini is definitely worth a visit. I‘m excited to see where your next trip will take you. 🍀

I just rewatched your video this morning. I see in you a quality person that speaks from the heart. Thank you James for being you and showing everyone that with honesty and with hard work you can achieve your dream. The honesty and hard work also needs to come from your personal life. Seekers like us are always ready to learn more about ourselves as we negotiate our lives. I will continue to follow you for your expert videos, and live somewhat vicariously through you! Thank you James, keep doing you just as you are!

Thanks so much for opening up about your burn out. That vulnerability will help you in your recovery. I just left my corporate finance job after 20 years due to the same reasons. Keep up the great content and good luck with it all 🙏

I get it. I worked in banking for 20 years in the Real Estate Loan Department. You sound like you may be one of the loan officers I worked with. They made 200-500k or more yearly but no life. I got burnt out as well, so now I’m self employed.

I am not trying to be an ass here but I watch through all 24 minutes of your video and you still a mystery to us. All we know is you used to be a great sales man and maybe thats how you can afford the money to travel and eat? We dont know what kind of salew you did,,where you come from, what is your home town. Maybe your next Q/A video you might tell us a little more? But your video is still motivational to people and I think thats more important.

I love to watch your Vegas videos. I'm a Vegas veteran, but I really love to see your experiences, and it's great that you show close-ups of the food and drinks and cost. I'm always looking for new places to try. Also love your reviews about the total cost of these places. Glad to hear you are not always traveling alone. I often go to Vegas alone because I enjoy going where I want, when I want. And my favorite traveling companion was my husband who passed away in '08. But it's really a bummer sometimes when dining at nice restaurants by myself. No one ever wants to give you a table when you're by yourself, they always suggest you just eat at the bar. Keep up the great work! I'll keep watching.
@BirteK1975 Жыл бұрын
That is so true. I often have trouble getting a table for one in Vegas. No, I do not want to sit at the bar. And now, I am no longer sit on a bar stool anymore anyway. I had a major stroke in 2016 and I have a weakness in the left half of my body. I have to sit in a decent chair. I hope they will take that into consideration on my next trip to Vegas in 2024.
@vickistebel9340 Жыл бұрын
@@BirteK1975 the best thing to do if you have a restaurant you definitely want to try is to make a reservation and when you make it, tell them you are handicapped and cannot sit at the bar but you need a table for 1.

I have been looking at a few you tube video trip of las vegas from other you tube bloggers. I honestly didn’t like any of them. It will be my first trip to las vegas in August 2022 and i couldn’t even decide which hotel to stay at. I got mixed reviews about the hotel experiences. I ran into your you tube videos and started watching a few more videos within about 2hrs. Thank you for sharing your true authentic experience to all the hotels you stayed at and food experience. One video you listed the total price expense and i thank you for sharing that because it gave me an idea how much my expenses could be when i go or what to expect. reading other comments i agree your name should be from violist to the realist. you have become my favorite you tuber. This video 🔥👏 10/10 wishing you all the best and look forward to watching many more videos and your experience.

Thank you so much for sharing with us about yourself. So much of what you said I found to be wise. Especially when you talked about the school educational system serious lack of preparing young people for every day life. 'Social Studies' in class doesn't give you the necessary life skills you need to survive on your own...at work, people and making good decisions in private life. Looking forward to seeing your future videos. You always have good information to pass on to the us viewers.

Just subscribed because of this video. I really enjoyed the content of this video. I love your heartfelt honesty and your decision to leave what was causing you to burn out. My life is very different….married for 51 years, a wonderful husband, 2 wonderful children (actually men now…..ages 50 &45) and I can honestly say that if I left this world today or tomorrow I am happy with my life. Although we are enjoying doing more travelling now that we are retired. I am a foodie and love watching the Vegas videos and all those awesome food & drinks! What’s great about Vegas is no matter how often you go…..you never run out of things to do & see! Try one of the lip smacking foodie tours….I think you would really enjoy that! Keep up the great videos! Love your attitude & your smile!

I hope you're planning on doing another Q&A to celebrate 50K subscribers, and perhaps again for 75K and 100K. It's a joy following your channel along! 🙂 I'll honestly echo some other comments here that I do genuinely feel you were kind of guarded in how you answered some of the questions in this here Q&A..............but I feel I understand intuitively why that was and don't fault you at all. 🙂 When you've dedicated so much of your life to date to a profession as intensive as sales and while there's definitely valuable pros in doing that.................the wear and tear is very real and also the intense pressure that comes with everything being cyclical and trying to manage the quiet part of any cycle for instance. And because sales is intensively image-centric including self-presentation, selling that professional countenance can be challenging and exhausting on and off that leaves a lasting impact on anyone longer-term personally as well. So I feel it's a process building a relationship with others like in the form of this KZbin channel................and you'll gradually continue to open up at your own pace and share more about yourself over time at your choosing. All I can say is that from the deep dive into your amazing content already, I appreciate you a lot more and can't wait to see where this channel evolves from here. Congratulations James! 😊

It's just fun to see all the nice hotels and all that food. Living in a rural area, the food in the grocery store is always the same, the Carl's Jr. Is always the same, and the frozen dinner for lunch is usually not the greatest.
