I ran the Copper Rugged Treks on my 17 Jeep GC Trail Hawk and they performed fantastic in the mud, snow and rain. I have not run them on ice yet. This tire has a very slight humming sound and stays quiet at all speeds. Not like the rumble sound you would expect... Surprisingly smooth ride on the interstate and roadways. Outstanding Tires, I paid close to 300 per tire mounted and balanced size 18s a year ago.

Seems like everyone is copying the Falken wildpeaks outer tread design with the inner tread diff... What I like about this tire is u can pick which side u want out bcuz they have diff tread pattern on the sidewalls of the tire.. I wish he would have showed that in the video... That's a really good idea by cooper.. I may try these on one of my truck but both have wildpeaks on the. Rn and I really don't see a better tire out rn imo.. I will have to try these at some point though.. wildpeaks do everything exceptional for me on road handle and quite, and snow /ice exceptional , haven't really and don't go mudding in either of my truck but my driveway did go all to crap after a big snow that laid for about 2 weeks and both the truck made it up the hill just fine with the wildpeaks. Red clay mud that came all the way to the wheel on a set of 17s so I say prob 7 to 8 inches of mud. I remember the trees beside my driveway in the curve were covered in mud about 10ft from ground up where they were slinging it coming up the hill... If these are quite and will last like the wildpeaks I will def put on one of my trucks. I've never really been a Cooper fan or had good luck with them but like I said this is just one man's experience with them and this is a brand new tire that looks really good.. alot of great tech in these tires.. good job Cooper

This is the review that I tried to submit to Cooper but since I compared my Discoverer At3's vs the Rugged Treks and I had some issues with the AT'3's they wouldn't allow it. I wouldn’t normally do a review with only 1000 miles of use so I will come back down the road to update. The reason I am doing this is because these tires have exceeded my expectations in cornering especially in off camber turns as well as wet driving in comparison to my previous tires the Discoverer AT3’s. I was able to drive with confidence for over 50 miles this week while having downpours from Hurricane Ida in NJ at speeds up to 65. My old AT3’s were horrible in both the corners and rain. They were so bad in rain I was afraid to go above 50 on the highway because they hydroplaned. This seems to be the exception but was my experience. If the Rugged Trek’s perform well in snow I will have hit the trifecta of tire attributes that mean the most to me! I had used p275/60 r 20’s for the AT3’s and now am using the LT 275/65 r20’s for the Rugged Treks so with the almost 2” taller profile, 1/2” wider width and almost 20pounds per tire increase in weight I did lose about 2mpg which is to be expected but the other performance so far exceeds my previous tires I am fine with it. Oh and the pictures in the description don’t do these tires justice. They look great! I actually had a friend ask if I got a new truck! LOL!!!
