Speaking of new vehicles not fitting in garages, Cleetus McFarland recently shared on one of his videos that when sharing the plans and blueprints of his new house build he’s doing on his channel. One of his viewers noticed that his new garage plans would basically not fit his Raptor R he daily’s. So he had to go back to the architects add 2 feet to the plans. Luckily they had not poured concrete yet and also had to adjust this new figure so it was still even with his enormous hanger he will have at his new home. Even new homes have issues fitting all that modern vehicle inside!

Matt answered why people buy Paganis when he explained the trips they go on. Given that a private jet costs €5-50m this sounds a great way to meet other creative people who don't care about lap times. Hell this is why people bought the FXX
@fraserwright94823 ай бұрын
Matt feels very self conscious about the Pagani. If wealth itself was a reflection of your role in society regardless of its acquisition, then you would find forfilment in it. Many seek exclusion from society and fear the riot or mob as either jealousy or guilt. Where I think Matt has a hole in himself and the fans quite rightly find jarring. Is he leans into the idea of avoiding paying taxes, Mr Ticket, only going to events as a work tax write off, gloating about avoiding paying for things. He has no responsibility with society itself other than how it makes him feel, not the homeless person in the tent. Every part of that Pagani has had a person employed to extract the elements, build it and the creative people involved to get it there. Its why the bolts cost $95 each and others are happy to buy one.

My assumption on how the tires sense the road must be through some kind of hall effect sensor in the wheels looking at the distance of the steel belts in the tyre. However when this happens it would already be too late for the suspension to compensate for it, so it may make an assumption that the road surface has changed so would preemptively adjust dampening for upcoming road. Similar to the TEMS system in the MA70 supra where it changed if you started taking corners hard.

We no longer have kings and noblemen to commission projects that require craftsman who spent decades honing their ability until they are the very best that can be found. They are not here today to be patrons to artists, be they painters, or sculptors, or composers. Perhaps one of the few redeeming things about a system that allows for the truly wealthy is that you can continue to ensure the craftsmanship and artistry that existed 2, 5, or 7 centuries ago will still exist this century, and perhaps the next.

Let me put in a way that even you can understand, California and NJ have a progressive tax structure, so the higher earners pay more tax. If they leave then the state itself has less income, Cali at the moment has a $75b shortfall. So instead of the State spending statically on social structure when things are bad, reducing homeslessness and crime which affect both rich and poor even in one of the highest GDP per capita States in the world. The states that benefit from the exodus from Call are Texas and Florida who have affordable housing, better social services and can pay their workers less because they don't have as high income to outgoings as the California workers do. In Cali there is a fixed 2% property tax regardless of value, you only move into a higher tax bracket when you sell, which restricts the flow of real estate in both residential and commercial real estate as wealthy older owners are incentivised to not sell and rent this at higher current values making entry to California a poor choice for business and low income workers. As the "socialism" model of Texas illustrates.
@adogmcdizzle2 ай бұрын
@@fraserwright9482 what has any of that got to do with rent controls?
@fraserwright94822 ай бұрын
If you own property in California you are incentivised not to sell which reduces the supply, you are also incentivised to hinder any construction, if you do sell you are incentivised to leave Cali by your tax updating. If you do build you are building for the highest yield rent possible as the supply of property sites are small and because this is not aimed at making it affordable my aim as a developer is to maximise ROI. The state itself wants this as they get higher tax from a multi million property investor than a single home owner or renter. Other places have discouraged this by making construction companies fit multiple income in one place or allowing luxury apartments if they build a ratio of affordable housing. Other steps make more than 2 properties a higher tax rate or home ownership for people who are not living there uneconomical to cool off the investment aspect. Yes capping it won't fix the property market long term as this will make it less appealing to developers as there is a small supply of locations, but nor will letting it go unhinged as this is being paid for by businesses and residents in higher wages to fuel an overheated property market. It's not as simple as shrugging and saying it's this or Communism
