I thought it was funny and thought "good for him!' he showed some balls and it paid off. He bested us that day. We will get him another day, but today was his day. That's how I approached my job. Sometimes I caught subjects and sometimes they got away. Thats the game we played. There was no call to handle this that way. I hate offenders that wont take responsibility or accountability for their choices. I strongly feel police officers have to have that same accountability. I hope the damage was paid for and I really hope that officer was reprimanded and reminded there are rules we have to play by. Sometimes subjects get away. Whatever agency is allowing this cop to remain on the streets also needs to be held accountable. Not only is this a disgusting form of policing, where you get to immediately tackle and handcuff people for basic civil infractions, but the cop is putting everyone in danger by immediately escalating otherwise low-risk contacts to use of force events. There were no lights/siren and no verbal or visual cues that he was law enforcement BEFORE going hands on. If a cop sneaks up behind another person and rips them onto the ground like that, all without mentioning the word police, the citizen may assume for a moment that they're being assaulted and seriously believe their life is in danger, and so instinct would be to fight back or reach for their conceal carry. The cop is gunna get himself or an otherwise law abiding citizen killed pulling this stunt. This is even worse than a no-knock warrant. This is literally just a surprise attack on a citizen. If a cop got stopped by another officer like this, they would shoot first and ask questions later.

Shoot first and than ask questions. That's how the police conducts stops nowadays

I would never take off and theres a few good reasons for this, 1) I am not looking to be arrested and even if I new I was gonna get a fine or be arrested I'd not run and risk it being worse. 2) I'm the kinda guy that thinks you have to deal with the consequences for your actions. 3) my bike ain't fast enough to outrun the police 😂😂😂 And if I was to be tackled off my bike because "other bikers run" I'd be pissed and doing whatever I could to fuck that cop legally.

“When guys hide their license plate like that, they usually just take off.” ????????????! So your first instinct as an officer is to assault a civilian for something they never committed? LUL.
