Best to get your head out of the lofty clouds of believing there are two parties working against each other and realize they're just putting on a civilized WWE routine that I wouldn't be surprised to see that Vince McMahon himself is writing the script for just to keep running a scam over all of the citizens.

What I have been saying forever, qualified immunity is the least important issue in policing. That's protection from a CIVIL suit, no civilian oversight for the criminality is the biggest issue. Every complaint should go to a grand jury.
@oblivionsa7973
@oblivionsa7973 3 ай бұрын
The entire system is like that. The DAs rely on the police to investigate their cases, so they (sometimes quite literally) let them get away with murder. The judges rely on them for security, so they won't do anything either. The giant conflict of interest is certainly part of the reason why they are rarely held accountable. No matter how many times we've seen police provably lie, their word is still trusted as fact by the courts. Civilian oversight by people with no connection to the police is one of the only ways I can think of to rectify that.
