2 EMT workers arrived. There's handheld stretchers and they were called to a double amputee so I think people questioning why they didn't bring one with them is quite understandable especially when given the information that the surrounding area isn't traversable by other vehicles so most likely inaccessible to the helicopter as well. But I have no idea what happens when EMT's get a call so I'm also just looking for someone who knows why they couldn't carry a stretcher onto the train in order to move him to an area where the helicopter could safely land as fast as possible
@officialdrowsy5 ай бұрын
@@Jessespresso first of all, there are two kinds of “stretchers” the gurney on wheels and the backboard stretcher which two people can carry. That thing doesn’t fold as it is a hard plastic board used for patients suspected to have spinal injuries. There can be multitudes of reasons that they don’t have a backboard but one of them can be under-equipped (considering they are in the middle of nowhere) and not to mention they could be BLS (Basic Life Support) medics instead of ALS (Advanced Life Support) medics. Last but not least, you can take one look at that Union Pacific engine and you can say that there’s not enough space on the front of that engine. It’s either not enough space or it’s too dangerous

Anyone know why they wouldn't release information on survival? Seems kinda weird if it were weeks later.

This cop asking the guys name instead of just putting a tourniquet on him is ridiculous, if you know anything about tccc you dont have time for question without working on the guy. Always remember carry multiple tourniquets and carry a space blanket to keep people warm when people lose blood they go hypothermic real fast, officer could have done better but he did great as being a human.

he might have been setting it up while asking?

Dude you have no CLUE about exactly how it went down. They HAVE to ask questions like to find out right away what the level of consciousness is. It is important. Another arm chair medical professional who would’ve done everything *perfectly* if they were in that scenario 🙄

Xqc what information do you think the medical staff sees when they search your name on their data base? (Provided by your ID!!)

There’s a couple US states that are larger that a lot of independent countries.

Ironically this area isn't really that desolate. Was fairly close to Reno. The response could've been way longer if this was actually out in the boonies.

The man in the tiny screen is picking at his nails and skin. Also he is biting at his nails and skin. This is weird and unwatchable. He should not be in public view.

The nerve of uploading this without any updates or answers.. Also I feel like if you are an emergency medical helicopter dispatch team, you should 100% be trained to do rescues while hovering like the coast guard does!
