Chelsea's back four is still pretty poor but they all had an amazing second half against City. I want to shout out Azpi for dealing with Sane and Sterling the entire game. Although our attack wasn't at its best, we still converted our chances and even outpassed City at times in the second half.

I absolutely loved both Torreira and Shaqiri for their roles in the World Cup. I know that Torreira is 22 and is a wonderful Kante like prospect but Shaqiri is like the most underused and is an unsung hero. He can dribble, he can outwit defenders, very unselfish, can land a cross on a dime with his beauty left. Makes Liverpool more threatening as I thought Klopp missed a trick until now without accomodating him. As of now Shaqiri is like the most underrated player

Liverpool improved defensively from last season, but in their creation and on an individual level their attack has dropped off. Look at the games in the champion's league. The quality gap, good game management and luck have all helped them in the league. As a Liverpool fan, I'm not going to hide behind league points to gloss over several average/poor performances. Man U fans did that at the end of last season, Burnley fans too, and look where they are now. I've seen some improvement since the Red star loss (maybe a wake up call), but if we don't improve we won't have a shot at the title and future seasons may get worse. Our 4th place finish last season was due to a lack of desire of players (+manager?) who were focused on the Champion's league, but the second half of last season we were sensational, I hope to see us reach that level again. Maybe another big name in January? I don't know who we need, but Man C didn't need Mahrez or Sanchez yet they went for both.

I was skeptical already but when he said that Chelsea lost back to back games no offense but I knew he didn't know shit about us. We had two wins in between Spurs and Wolves. Our defenders were not at fault for either goal conceded. It was mistakes from Kepa and Willian. Our attack has fallen off a cliff since Hazard picked up a few injuries. We rely on him too much, He's the only player in our squad of his own quality. People, espcially our own fans like to pretend we have great players but really we've just been able to get the best out of a bad bunch particularly since Conte's first season. Alonso, Willian, Luiz, Pedro, Morata, Azpilicueta, all players perceived to be better than they truly are, all players that start games regularly for us.

As a Chelsea fan I disagree with the defence being a shambles. Our problem is it’s deployed all wrong. I love Marcos Alonso, he’s had a rocky couple of games recently but he was also struggling with a knock recently so not sure if that plays a part. Azpi is class and has been Mr. Consistent for years now, but this season not so much, reason being is he’s a centre back and proved that over the last 2 years under Conte. He should partner Rudiger as the centre back duo, and a new right back is needed to polish the defence off and Kepa has come under unfair criticism recently, whenever called upon he’s been fantastic and can not stop everything, no keeper can. On the other end of the pitch, I couldn’t agree more, Morata is one of the worst strikers in the premier league. EVER.
