That's different man. Alves was already an experienced player with multiple titles when that happened, that's why he was able to handle it so well. Kean is still an 18 year old kid, think about how bad he must have felt just for being born the way he is, on top of that his own teammate condoning racism. 😔

@spongebobsquarepants7388
@spongebobsquarepants7388 5 жыл бұрын
@@OwlGear There's so much wrong with your point. Firstly they're losing out on playing football - which should be something they adore playing, though clearly nowadays this doesn't seem to be the case. In many cases playing football has brought these disadvantaged people into lives of luxury and success, they shouldn't let people trying to hold them down stop playing the very game that brought them up. Secondly they're losing their pride and dignity. If you let their negative actions reap positive rewards (from the perspective of the racists), since surely the goal of a racist is to reduce the involvement of other races amongst something they see as theirs, then you are admitting defeat in the battle. If you walk off then you're letting down the 10s of thousands of other fans who've paid to see you play over the actions of a vocal minority of people - not even considering the millions globally who may support you and who pay to watch sports on TV. This new age concept of cowering away from and ignoring bad ideas needs to stop. It allows little bubbles on groupthink to emerge under the surface, never being help up to external scrutiny, who become more and more radical whilst never hearing the criticisms against them. This is a more general point than one that applies directly here, but it's the same thought process. So I ask you, what do they lose by staying on the pitch? But more importantly what do they gain from leaving?

@copa90 Poet, Vuj and Copa fam, now more than ever we need more people like you speaking up against racism and any other violation to our human rights. I applaud you and Copa 90 for highlighting this issue since day one of your show. The fact that other media outlets are following your footsteps shows that it’s actually working. Whether it is bc they truly care or they are simply jumping into a bandwagon, the fact of the matter is that awareness is increasing. Racism is IGNORANCE and lack of understanding. Those with privilege oppressing those without it. The only way to combat racism is with education and awareness. Copa 90 as a platform has the POWER to continue to educate people. So please don’t stop speaking against racism. I am a public school teacher in Dallas TX. If we become bystanders and stop educating our youth about the real issues in our society, things will only get worst. #neversilent #speakup

If players abandon matches upon hearing something they perceive to be racist, who wins the match? Would there be an investigation into who was the least/most racist, and award the result based on that? Would they have to replay any abandoned matches behind closed doors? What's stopping teams taking advantage of the opportunity to win a game by default just by walking off and claiming they heard racist noises? The league table would have to have an extra bit that tallied the number of racism points lost/gained. It could be used to separate sides which are level on everything else, perhaps. Imagine that determining a title or relegation! It also gives the racist fans (assuming they are actually genuinely racially abusing players in a conventional way, and not just singing songs about how lukaku must be big-knobbed) a definite target. If they manage to get their opposition to submit then they win, sort of thing. I cant see how it would address the problem in a productive way. If anything I can see it making things far far worse. Ultimately, if your fans are being scrotes it's got nothing to do with the club. Some clubs are situated in very deprived and culturally diverse areas with a lot of racial tensions, such as Luton and Milwall. They will always have a worse record on this than clubs like Brighton and Southampton, for example, whose supporter catchment areas are far more homogenous and middle class. So it would already punish clubs purely for being in the wrong place and having the wrong class of supporter. This whole issue is farcical, and so are the suggestions certain people have made to try and fix the problem. The only fix for racism is to stop talking about race. Stop caring about it. Stop being proud of it and stop shaming people for it. Leave it alone. Let it be. Shut the fuck up and be an individual.

Won't the fans just intentional be rascist to the the opposition players to see them walk off . Maybe a partial stadium closure may work as it hurts the thing they love the most their pocketssssss

I know the title race has been over for time but you guys need to check the race for top 4 over in Italy... Milan, inter, Roma, Lazio, and Atalanta are all trying to secure UCL for next season. Atalanta particularly have been superb this season!

Raheem is one of the strongest footballers mentally i can think of. The shit he has to put up in the stands and in the press is just sad. It's 2019 and the fact that the F.A. put more importance on the banning of pyro over racism just shows how far this game still has to improve.

Arsenal 0 - 1 Everton .... THE DRAKE CURSE IS A THING FAM, on the side note this really helps united and Chelsea as 3rd is only 3 points away for United and 1 away from Chelsea massive loss for arsenal who would have been comfortably 5 points away from United!

From opposing team no, i'd just run in front of their stands and pose. From own team, hell yeah, even score an own goal and bounce

Another win under Marco Silva’s belt. I’m still not fully convinced that he’s the guy to take Everton to the top 6, but I’m starting to gain trust in the project as a whole. We need to get some good signings this summer, sell Theo Walcott, play the young players, sell Theo Walcott, get the new stadium, and sell Theo Walcott. I’m excited to see how we do next season now that the team is starting to get used to his system :)

Man like Bonucci.... absolutely no common sense about 50/50? Absolute clown 🤔 does this guy even know what he actually said? Does he realise that Kean is not only his Juve teammate but fellow Italian national team player as well! Absolutely ridiculous.

Many are calling the Bundesliga title race done after Bayern thrashed Dortmund 5-0, but Bayern have the more difficult final games that include Leipzig and Jovic's Frankfurt, and they are still candidates for the Pokal
