jmptaz I’ll never understand why crazy people do stuff like this! HELLO!!... if you damage the vehicle, it’s less they will get when it goes up for sale/auction = less off your debt you STILL owe.🙄🙄. Unfortunately, many, many years ago, I was on the receiving end of a repo after I lost my job. I knew repo guys were coming any day... you can bet I cleaned out & cleaned up that car to mint condition. Sure enough repo guys came, had it parked in my garage, handed them the keys, & away they went. Before they left tho, they commented that my car was the cleaned repo they’ve picked up in 12yrs of doing them!👍. Finance company actually got MORE than what I owed on it resulting in a ZERO balance owed!

Dear Randy, the 5008 means that the tire was manufacture in 50 week of 2008. It does not mean that it was installed in 50 week of 2008. Maybe the tire was in storage for many years and install 2 years ago....RIGHT???? thank you.
@ericmcginnis9413

I was going to say the same thing. But to say the manufacture date is the install date is a terrible mistake and so far from the truth!
@r.weaver3769
@r.weaver3769 5 жыл бұрын
D.O.T. states tires cannot be sold after a time limit. Return to manufacture if not sold by date specified. Also shops will not install tires with date code older than two years, they can be held liable if failure of outdated tire results in property loss. My shop will not even repair a tire that old. A competitor had a customer with a 2004 truck had a tire damaged, asked to have the Original spare put to the ground, putting the spare on the chrome rim, the tire failed causing accident, court held tis shop at fault because tire was beyond 10 years old and acted irresponsible in not advising to replace tire entirely.
@bruceh1300

I think the date code on those tires is the manufacture date that tires are made not installed on the rims.

ToddG that's me , good advice on the tires. A lot of people just look at the tread and think that’s the only measurement. My reply to that has often been “would you trust a 6yo condom to do its job correctly” and then they tend to understand better.

Correct. Those tires could have been put on in 2013. Some shops don't rotate stock and install old "expired" tires. He might be able to go to Firestone with the serial numbers and find out when they were installed.

Those wheels are off a 2008 GT Mustang. They're not stock rims for a 1994 Mustang. They were probably pull-offs that someone bought sometime after 2008. Factory wheels would have been split three-spoke wheels.

I am one of those rare car girls and I actually own a race prepped 1999 convertible Mustang Cobra convertible with less than 100k miles. I keep mine absolutely immaculate. I'm also addicted to your channel! So when I saw you bought this Mustang I was very excited. The more I watched, the more I was thinking what a previous poster commented......someone dumped water in the engine. I was so glad to hear it run strong and I hope you don't find and issues as you progress. Other than the obvious damage to the front the car is incredibly clean!. Rebuilt title or not, these cars with under 100k miles on the odometer, and not completely ragged out are becoming rare gems. I'm also impressed how you fix things correctly and not "half assed". The 350Z is a prime example. You and Weird Beard are doing a great job and I wait every day to see if you or he release a new video on your progress. Body work fascinates me. Anyway, good luck, and keep producing fun and informative videos.

CON-DEN-SATION! That’s what’s responsible for the chocolate shake in the oil pan. That’s it. My ex gf from years ago was given a 96 lesabre from a family member of hers after she totaled her car. The car sat for 3 or so years before we got it. It was running when parked. Before I tried to start it after sitting so long I checked the oil (which seemed decent) and pulled a few plugs. First plug I pulled created a river of water flowing out of that cylinder! I thought “That’s it! Game over! Locked up!” Removed all the plugs and rolled it over by hand and it turned. Rolled it over with the starter, no more water. That was the only cylinder with condensation. It actually turned out to be a nice, reliable car for her. To answer your question, I would sell it as is! That thing is cherry looking! Keep her whole, man.

You have been driving me crazy with your videos. I keep being drawn to your older video at your prior home. I am a Midwest City resident and your home kept drawing me into something that really seemed familiar. I thought I knew the house but it wasn’t til today with the old yellow Camaro video that I finally realized my old stomping grounds. I grew up in the Ridgecrest addition, and went to school there. Father and wife taught there, so when your driving down Mockingbird it finally hit me where you were. Lol! I have really enjoyed your videos as well as your insight. I appreciate your going through how to set up an account and the bidding info. I have recently put a 2012 Honda Accord back together after my youngest took out a metal fence. So I have the itch to find another Honda 4 door to rebuild for my older son who needs to transport his 2 year old. Keep up the good work.

Randy, get you some Marvels Mystery Oil and run it with some clean new oil to clean the oil pump. Not Lucas. Lucas is thick and will raise the oil pressure and if the pump is weak from the water being in the oil, can damage the car. Let the car warm up, some Marvels to it, let it run for a bit and drain the cheap oil and Marvels while it’s warm and get you some good quality oil in there. Run it for about 300 miles and change it again. You’ll be glad you did. You got lucky

You might want to check the prices out ... Look at E Bay at the prices ..I own a late model used car dealer and have a few classics all the time (50's-70's mainly and some 80's and early 90's now)...I do sell on e bay sometimes and am successful doing so.. I sold a clean 110,000 mile 1995 Mustang GT 5.0 automatic yet for $6800,sold it 1 year ago ! It had 2 claims on it,4 owners etc..But clean and ran and drove great !! I repainted the front and rear bumper due to minor parking lot scrapes over the years.. These 94-95 5.0 Mustangs are around on average $5000 - $6000 cars,again on area ,condition of car...You have a $3000 car min in Oklahoma ! 79,000 original miles it should fetch $4000 or maybe more !! Its not a 146,000 mile $2500 worn out car !! All depending whats wrong with it lol... You fixed the Nissan,that was not as a desirable car (most areas a Mustang will sell quicker) and the Z needed more work albeit a newer car but nonetheless.. ****I am not a ford fanboi ,Mopar guy here so...not biased in the least between Zee Z ands the Mustang GT..

Those are V6 Mustang rims and not original to that car....somebody swapped the rims. So, don't go by those tires.

daredevil7442 Those rims came from a 2005 - 2006 Mustang GT. The 6 cylinder rims were very different.

SHAWNO yea they will I had my corvette get totallled because water in oil. Car was stolen they blew motor but didn’t hurt car at all. Only totaled it over the engine
@chrishuber516
@chrishuber516 5 жыл бұрын
Well dang if they ruin the motor tune the car is worthless cuz it's ugly. The 5.0 has less than 300 horsepower in the 90s but if you change the camshaft into it to a roller cam it goes a lot faster about a hundred 50 horsepower. If you put bigger heads and stroke the motor out it will go even faster
@gm5957
@gm5957 5 жыл бұрын
Was only gone less then 48 hours. The only reason they totaled it was motor. Someone just dumped a gallon wTer that motor

Look man you're great but the cliffhanger is BS, you're better than that. If you run out of time, sure but you don't need that to make people want to watch.

Better tell that to the TV stations which do the exact same thing. Why? Money. I make videos, and I have to get paid.

Needs a full fluid flush, proper wheels/tires, pressure check to be sure, cam, injectors, blower and tune and thats a nice GT to play with. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if i had the money.

The year on the tires are not when they were installed on the vehicle. Its when the tires were manufactured but still corresponds with your theory of the ware and tare on the tires. Keep up the good work.
