Check the injectors. Most likely causing the misfire. And check the oil could be extremely low, same thing happened with my car.

My 3 series done that when I lost cylinders replaced all coils and was fine, I had loads of smoke car was shaking and misfiring.

Don't waste your time or money getting it serviced till you've got that checked over properly. Start it up turn the AC on see if it overheats. Check the oil cap etc to see if the headgasket really is gone like many are suggesting

A few guys saying you don't know what you're doing and shouldn't buy a salvage car. They obviously don't realise the best way to learn is hands on and if you make some mistakes along the way SO what! You dont go that deep into something and end up drowning. Non runners are for someone who has alot of mechanical experience. Start with the basics first.

@@james-oo7qj my audi was a non-runner salvage when I bought it. I wouldn't say I have a lot of mechanical experience, I just did my research and after some trial and error I got her started. Mistakes are a good way to learn if you can make it financially feasible.
