Hey Randy….the trunk release button is right below you when you are pushing the TC button on the Mazda 3. You see it at 18:40 between your thumb and forefinger above the Hood release button. I worked on lots of those when I was in the rental car business lol

Maybe the reason the trunk didin't open on the mazda is because you need to open the driver's door to get to the trunk I know is a weird desicion but either way still a very good mid size sedan

That Mazda more than likely only needs a tire pressure sensor, I know a lot of cars disable the traction control and abs whenever the tire sensors are bad

I had 2 Mazda 3s, third gens like this one. Overhall very disappointed. I’ve had lots of quality issues, rattles, suspensions knocks, dpf issues, and so on. Mine were built in Mexico, and I red than Japan built ones are much better. You might want to check that with the VIN before jumping in that boat!
