On that Charger, the battery on that fob is low. Dont even have to replace the battery, just press the fob into the start button and it should start. Atleast thats how it is on my '12 RT

That Kenwood tape deck, takes me back. I still have a Kenwood cd player, looks like that tape deck. The first aftermarket deck I ever bought.

@@MrWoodyBalto yup. I have that deck in the original box. I bought a Chevy Beretta in high school, still own it to this day, and that Kenwood cd player was the first thing I did to it. It still works perfectly, I just added a more up to date deck, and kept it. Every now and then it's nice to just pull it out, and think back to a simpler time, etc. Car was my first big accomplishment so I won't ever sell it. It's a reminder that hard work pays off

Those older ford escapes are pretty reliable. I had an 02 with 180k miles on it and it ran really well. The v6 and the 4 cyl were both pretty good engines.

I have that same Charger. You have to actually press the start/stop button with the end of the remote. My battery died in the remote while I was out and about. Had to call the dealer. 👍🏼🙃

I miss my S2000 after years of owning one, I too go through multiple cars. I had a AP-1 and converted the transmission to a AP-2. Best setup by far after that.

Randy, sometimes when key fob batteries are dead you have to take the top of the key fob and physically press the start button with the end of the key fob while pressing the brake. Not sure about Dodge specifically, but you might want to try this on some cars at copart that have smart keys.

The Honda s2000 is a beast and a rare one now. Engine that can go at 9000 rpm like a good motorcycle :-) This can be a great project :-)

Dodge key fob: Either fob battery is dead or someone removed it because they want the car for themselves. Use your fingernail to carefully pry and remove the start button cover off from the "push to start" button, insert fob and turn it like a key. Lexus AFS of Active Front Lighting button at 23:10 click it to turn off that light on dash, should fix it. Else the adaptive headlights need adjusting/fixing/replacement.

The Dodge Charger should have a little picture of a key somewhere close to where the push button is in the plastic. Just hold the key directly to that.

Not sure about the AFS, but with the Chrysler products, in some cases you have to tap the key against the push start button & it will turn on. Stupid yes, but it’ll work every time.

that battery looks like it was chaging and the fumes exploded.. I did that to a battery ones.. was charging it and pulled off the charger and it sparked and lit the hydrogen off gas .. boom battery split wide open like that and acid all over, ruined my jacket acid on it etc..

I test drove a nissan murano and it was a push start like that dodge. And it also said no key detected either but the mechanic we took it to to have it looked at mostly cause the check engine light was on but the battery was dead. It started right up after a jump start. But of course the dealership denied the fact that the battery was bad

The s2000 would resale for around 6 to 7k easy and the suspension is made by ksport and retails for 1200 it's a good buy.

If you treat a Chrysler right, they last a LONG time. I had a 2005 that I got into an accident with (dented hood, cracked bumper, headlight tab broken) at around 40 miles per hour, and that thing ran like a top. At that point, it had around 160,000.

Considering how great of a handling car the S2k is, it is highly sought after. That and being RWD, people want them and can't afford them. If you can get it low enough it'll sell regardless of title. But I probably wouldn't go higher than 4-5k on it.

Love that Subaru, engines are bullet proof. $3K tops on the Honda, loads of repairs. Jeep Wrangler? #3 on the LGBT Top 10 Must have cars, so only if you are coming out. Infinity G37, on the floor mat and AFS Adaptive Front Light System, points the lights in the direction you are turning. Probably needs lubrication, sat so long.
