You think you could plant something in that ditch like a jasmine so you wouldn’t need to mow it?
@JBatsche5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I would imagine you might get some debris in there from time to time. That jasmine is pretty resilient, would be worth doing a test strip maybe. Either way, it looks good the way you maintain it. 👌

That’s awesome man, can’t wait to see how it turns out! Thanks for the tag John.

As someone who cuts 7000 lawns a year for the last 12 years trust me when I suggest it is easier to start at the bottom of the ditch and run parallel like you did but start at the bottom.

@@realJohnWare 😂 Try to enjoy every cut. Get through the rough to get on the fairways.
@PaulsPrimeCuts5 жыл бұрын
John Ware start in the middle work your way down be sure to go from right to left only ... very important. Stop half way through and drink, the do the other half left to right ... trust me

The problem with the ditches in my neighborhood is location...Im not on the high side and not on the low side yet I get constant runoff from the two neighbors to the west of me. Some folks down at the low end really get hammered when we have heavy rains as the ditches just don't drain well...

First Aussie 😁nice setup in garage from the little bit I saw. You could give a few pointers how to have a good setup to Brett from Brett’s Grasscapades. 😁😀👍🏼

We can get our ditches filled in but we have to get an engineer to sign off on the size of pipe to install and pay for it ourselves but most folks go for it never the less.

Curious if you have seen the reports on the turf replacement at razorback field? The timeline of sod placement to when they will be practicing on the field is crazy!

My entire backyard is a problem area.

I think y'all know what my problem areas are LOL. But the sanding I did helped a lot with it, but I still have the back yard to contend with, but it's getting better every year.
@jaygonzalez35555 жыл бұрын
Do you find thatPGR really does increase horizontal growth? I keep reading conflicting info. I'm curious about PGR, because i like the idea of not having to mow every 3 days in the TX heat.

John Ware Man! I meant to post this question in your PGR vid. Thanks, John.

Ditch looks decent honestly. Same problem here. What bugs me is the crappy grass mix that grows near the road at my place. Blacktop gets too hot for grass to grow and the weeds infest.
@WaveAction7775 жыл бұрын
Just let that portion grow to 3-1/2 inches or more, the height difference will emphasize the low cut area better as well as hide the bare spots with the height

15” or 24” ADS pipe and back filling it level would make that ditch go away.
@iverson7215 жыл бұрын
Can that be leveled out ?

Attempt to do what Connor Ward did and pay THOUSANDS of dollars to install a 2 foot diameter culvert and make that ditch go away. Good luck!
