The big gasket acts as heat sheild to prevent the carburettor from overheating from engine heat.

Lol! I will try to show it in action. Thinking some smoke grenades from Phantom Fireworks will hopefully show what the tornado tip does.

I would add consider your back and only use the backpack blowers for large jobs...a good hand held will do small to medium sized jobs great without killing your back.

That on and off switch would get me every time.I have an echo and the I have turned the lock throttle too far down and Shut it off mid job and that sucks but I might pick one of these up as a spare.I like that tornado tip

I just picked one of these up from a dealer but it didn't come with the tornado tip... hope the stats hold up without it. Looks like I'll be calling the dealer to see what's up.

Would like to see how this tornado tip works. First time seeing something like that on a blower. Or a comparison video.

Not since they went to the four stroke motor they have lost a lot of their durability the blowers seem to be holding up but the trimmers are just plain garbage.

I don't believe in the stats they slap on their blowers for one second 🤔🤨 I'm absolutely certain they measure those stats from the housing and not the end of the tube.

Stay away from these blowers. Nothing but problems from day one. I won’t waste time here writing about the problems with the 5 blowers that I bought had. But I’ll say one thing....in 28 years in business I’ve never had the screws that hold the carburetor in place come out even once, much less every single day like these Maruyama do.
