There are more bad cops in the department than there are civilians in the street. I would move mountains to help my man. This lady's fear of the media was naive. A lot of times, the supervisors that show up to the scene are worse than the officers. They condone their behavior.
@KatySueWhoАй бұрын
It’s because the police are able to detain you if they have a reasonable & articulable suspicion that a crime has been committed (not necessarily by you) & they need to further investigate. If you’re calm & go into the cuffs w/o pulling away, then they can’t charge you with resisting. With good cops, you’ll probably get treated much more fairly if you don’t fight being detained. With this kind of cop, I can’t imagine that it wouldn’t have mattered either way.
@KatySueWhoАй бұрын
Detaining you is basically just securing you so they know where you are & that they don’t have to worry about you while they’re doing other parts of their investigation. It seems like getting arrested because you oftentimes are put in handcuffs, but it’s not. When you’re detained you haven’t been officially accused of anything, so if you can just be good while they detain you, you very well might get to leave there without being arrested. Again, what happened here was absolutely police brutality & it sounds like it’s a pattern in practice of beating & humiliating people. I’m talking about the average police interaction. You can save yourself a lot of trouble if you rid yourself of the misunderstanding that you can’t resist arrest if you’re not charged with a separate crime that you’re resisting the arrest of. That’s not how it works. Don’t find out for yourself by fighting with a cop & catching a charge & the consequences that go with it.

They wont pay. The system is controled by people with similar mentality like this policeman, the only different is they either work from cover, on different scale, or they are smarter to not get caught. Also people are created as similar to God. And look at him. He wants murderers, bullies who causes suicides of milions of people around the world each year to go to heaven, next to people who had even some small piece of compassion for others. I was devoted christian my entire life, and all i witnessed was one, just one time i think i get help from god, and it temporary help. And i witnessed atleast 10 000 situations in which: god was showing me how worthless i am by allowing bullies to steal my life energy via bullying and being happy from it. Then showing me proof that 80 % of this bullies will never take ANY responsibility for their crimes. Then he created thousends of conflict situation for me in which i was attacked by another human being, just because this human needed to vent his bad emotions. This is what i am to this God - a trashbin for bad emotion of other people. So i say if god created humans at his similarity and he is in power, there will never be peace... i didn't ask Jesus to die for me on cross, i asked him to heal my wounds, and let me live peacefully with another people, but it seems i don't deserve it. If you reading this God or any of your whelps, i let you know you are just as evil as satan and i regret spending my whole life for you. Oathbreaker, poison master, bully master, devourer of all hope, this should be your nicknames, not healer, lion of judah the salvator. Sorry to burst your bubble, but Bad Elk is not recognized precedent. Resisting law enforcement, even in an unlawful arrest, is not going to end up well for anyone. How do you expect your scenario to end exactly? You think you’re gonna beat the cops ass and he’s just going to give up and let you walk away? Or you gonna rationally explain to the backup units arriving that the officer was trying to arrest you unlawfully therefore he should check your outdated irrelevant case law to see that you’re cool and he doesn’t need to intervene? …and they’ll just stand by and let you best the shit out of another cop because you’ve convinced them that you’re merely defending yourself from an unlawful arrest ??? Cmon man. Be friggin realistic. You’re encouraging people to put themselves in a position where they are at a real risk for being friggin killed, and at the very least, take a serious beating and a sampler platter of less lethal enforcement tools. Ever been tased? Guess what, it’s as unpleasant as it sounds when you’ve seen people take the ride. Pepper spray sucks even worse. Especially if the fight is still on. No, I’m no fan of friggin cops, and I totally agree that what these assclowns did happens far too often, especially in the little podunk towns here in Texas. But you’re encouraging people to do something stupid that’s gonna get them hurt based on something you heard from some other fool in a comment section who also didn’t know wtf he’s talking about. And at the end of the day, there’s a 99% chance you’re full of it and would bow down and do as you’re told by the popo regardless of if it’s lawful or not. And yes, I’ve dusted up with a couple cops. And I know this much for sure…they’re always going to win a physical fight, whether it’s then n there, or later on, or at the jail, or on a dead end road out in the woods on the way to the jail. Stop taking legal advice from ignorant people, especially sovereign citizens. And damn sure stop giving legal advice because somebody might be dumb enough to believe you n end up getting killed because you heard the name of an old case that yo7 know nothing about and think that’s enough to solve the problem.

And they asked him if he had taken his meds, his fiance said he was off his meds. You have no idea how hard it is to get an NGI (not guilty by reason of incompetence). If they know what a judge is, what the attorney and the prosecutor do, they're competent. So sadly the way our system works they lock them up in a mental hospital until they're restored to competency--back on their meds and stable--, which usually is way longer that what they would have done in jail. The cop kicking him when he's down and handcuffed it outrageous. Typical bully you often find in small town police force.

The FBI should be intervening in cases like this, clearly the local authorities are massively corrupt and routinely abusing the rights of citizens. This is a conspiracy against the rights of citizens. They're getting away with it because there's no federal oversight and no accountability. Ultimately noting is going to change until channels like this generate enough outrage that the US federal government is forced to take action to stamp on outrageous criminal cops and local governments like this.

Money. If you had $50k obligated for a lawyer this would be a different story. All the other lawyers have an obligation to the court. Without money, there will be no justice. Not for people like him. And me. Nobody has my best interest in mind more than me. Unfortunately being locked up will severely decrease your chances of doing it yourself. I guess that's why there's no bond.

Before Video this was a very common occurrence, seems that the police target lower income people and treat them much harsher than upper middle and higher income areas. Same calls in both places result in two different treatments, as if rights aren't allowed for people who cannot afford proper legal representation.

@@FangBlah thank you. I used to live up in Madera CA. We moved to Fresno in June 1972, as my dad worked for PG&E as a gas service man. He came to Fresno for a job promotion. I wish we could have moved to at least Northern California. My youngest brother Kevin ended up in jail a few times, and I feel my father let him down. I've lived in Death Valley National Monument many years ago, and although it was hot, at least it was peaceful.

I applaud your passion and I know you are committed to changing the way police are. As long as police are allowed to act without being held accountable and aren't subject to the very laws they ENFORCE. This is standard operating procedure and it's so blatant and flagrant they have no fears of being charged let alone CONVICTED and as long as the state attorney and judge are on board this fake fair legal system is a joke.

Sounds like Congress. They (Congress) are teaching other government agencies how to lie cheat and still. As well as how to break the laws that they enforce. Congress makes law that they do not have to abide by. 😮
