This is dangerous and inappropriate behavior by citizen activists. Following the police is reckless and could lead to interference of legitimate law enforcement activity due to safety concerns over the presence of bystanders. Officers face real threats to law enforcement personnel and citizen activists may be mistaken for criminals looking for retribution. The incidental filming of misconduct by law enforcement officers is within the law and inappropriate behavior by law enforcement officers is never justified. However this is going too far. There are other ways of publicizing police misconduct. My concern is that this behavior by citizen activists will be used to create legal precedence and new laws which will lead to the criminalization of all reporting and filming of police misconduct. Stop following the police around and making a nuisance out of yourselves. They have real problems which they need to deal with. Not all police activity is abuse of authority. Most officers are looking to catch or stop violent criminals. We need to reform our law enforcement agencies not "Abolish" them.

This is really crazy. They have completely WEPONIZED the violent laws and policies to retaliate against it's citizens, criminalize, incarcerate, dehumanize, EXTORT AND inflict abusive psychological and physical pain on citizens. The politicians are to be blamed for creating this situation. The people need to demonstrate and protest against this TYRANNY from the violent retaliatory state and federal government. They have COMPLETELY destroyed the social fabric of the society. The JUDICIAL, EXECUTIVE AND LEGISLATIVE BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT are filled with compromised politicians and judges to perpetuate evil oppression and suppression of the citizens through FEAR. People and especially BP need to recognize that there's no FREEDOM in the united states but rather in some asian countries and Africa. The true freedom is in Africa where you can leave a peaceful and fruitful life without the government violating your right and retaliating through their laws. We from the continent will continue to pray for our brothers and sisters to overcome the cause and effect of these violent laws, policies and culture.

Unfortunately they aren’t going to charge themselves. The system is so stacked in their favor it’s ridiculous. It’s why they have no fear of doing illegal things like this. Worst that happens to them is they lose their attempt to get illegal charges on a person. Meanwhile the victim of said illegal charges will have suffered numerous very real, long lasting hardships. At the end of which there is no compensation or apology from the perpetrators. If anything the perpetrators are typically indifferent to the suffering caused as that was part of their aim to begin with.

Well people need to protest when this crap happen in there town. The problem is by the time someone get the body camera months has passed. About the only exception is a cop shooting a unarmed person and that person usually has a large family and lot of people who know them. But most people the cops hurt are never known. I saw a video of a cop shootinb a 85 years old women who answered her door with a knife in her hand and was behind her back. Instead of the officer telling her to put it down or saying Maam if that is a knife or some other weapon I need to to put it away or drop it. But instead he kept on asking her to show him wnat it was. The final time he scream on top of his lungs and when she should him she had a knife he shot her 7 times. At no time did he even bother to step back. I bet you no one cared one crap about that poor women who answer her door with a knife because the stupid cop was banging on the door so loudly with his flashlight she probably thought someone was breaking in. She looks terrified when she saw it was a cop.

I was taught the Constitution in elementary school. I remember how it somehow freed me. And I was only a kid. I feel that learning the Constitution helped me mature into the man that I am today. It teaches us responsibility. It's simple and to the point. Small talk if I may. And this seems to be written this way on purpose. What tyrant's do is complicate things so the common man cannot easily defend himself. And or make it difficult to defend from a tyrannical attack of any kind what so ever. Especially with local police. And because of this. Cops don't abide by their oath. They enforce victimless crimes. They ruin lives. They steal people's money through traffic tickets that amounts to 7 billion per year and through civil asset forfeiture, which totals more than all the burglaries combined in the USA. They have raped over 400 women and children since 2014. They kill 3 Americans per day. Americans are 22 times more likely to be killed by a cop than anything else in the world! These are the reasons why I dislike bad cops. And good cops do nothing about the bad cops. So they are all bad cops.

Perfect analyses, Thank You. As a retired OTR driver, and through personal miles, I have had literally hundreds of these types of "encounters" with these jackbooted thugs making their own laws during such incidents. Many "stops" were based on purported road rage incidents that were so highly falsified and inflated, concocted and simply made up, by both the reporting entity and the law enforcement officials themselves. I, in their eyes and minds, was already fully guilty before even being stopped - every time. This goes back near 45 years through over 3 million miles of driving, personal and professional. I've seen it all ! I drove away 99% of the time without even a single piece of paperwork from them because I stood up for myself with them. They do not like that - at all - I relished in it. I'm no billybadass or nothing, meek and mild-mannered, calm cool and collected is me - until they tried to deny my rights. Then... They would quietly say " have a nice day SIR !" I carried a copy of the Colorado revised codes with for years as I lived on the west slope for over 20 years. 3 counties, 5 cities all within a 40 mile long valley / corridor (Roaring Fork). After a while, they all had my "number" and I was targeted at least weekly by any of them. Finally had enough as of their last "charade", couldn't afford to live their anymore anyhow and moved to Montana - nice and quiet here in the middle of nowhere and I no longer drive at all - don't even own a vehicle anymore; grocery store is only 5 blocks; I need the exercise anyhow. I dont need to go anywhere else - I've already been everywhere. I got to see every corner of the country on someone else's fuel and got paid well to do it too. I have many notebooks filled with all of the paperwork that was generated from "them" for so many false claims and outright lies in their handwritten statements. Unbelievable. Now, where I am, it is a very rampant and nearly undeniable and substantiated, hushed "rumor" that their are several officers on my local police force that are involved in meth and fentynal dealing(s) in this tiny town. Lotta' meth here, it is a very big problem. People speak up and are told that it simply is not happening - mind your own business and go back to doing whatever you were doing before. That don't work for me ! We don't have a mayor and a city council, we have the ruling body as the chamber of commerce and a CEO. I don't know how that works, but it is pretty obvious to me now after 23 years here that something is very wrong with this type of local government. I have compiled a very long list of wrongs and absolute inadequacies as well as quite an amount of nepotism and outright corruption. Do I put what I know of these local things into action, as several others here in town have and have been silenced for it, or just just enjoy my retirement and watch it go by ?

Modern police, and I mean the kind that were created under capitalism, mostly in the 19th century, were created for the very explicit purpose, and this hasn't changed at all, of punishing poor (read, working class) people and minorities. Ultimately, and most cops actually do not know this, they work for the owner class, the politicians who command the cops take their orders from these tycoons, just as the cops take their orders from politicians. Same with the sheriffs, they are beholden to wealthy backers, too. It sounds as if where you've landed, with the chamber of commerce, is a company town of sorts. My condolences.

This so often happens when a chief of police is ( allegedly ) running an illegal private security business. These illegal businesses use our tax payer equipment, desks, lights, telephones, cop man power and in many cases double bill the city and bill the paying customer that needs the private security services. The cop then pays the button nose chief of police a bit something something.. This is called RACKETEERING. 3 OF the criteria for RACKETEERING is hierarchy, intimidation, and fraud. There is no time off for bad cops. To the public it looks like they are on paid vacation, but mostly the cops work this illegal private security business. The only one fooled here is YOU!!!!!! Also, most cops drink vodka to sleep at night. They may have pulled you over and you would never know. Or could you. The big giveaway is the menacing, belligerent, confrontational, aggressive dangerous grainy VODKA VOICE. When you get pulled over , make as little contact with an alcoholic cop. Like any alcoholic, they are dangerous with a license to carry a gun and kill. They will testilie against you and get away with it. You are dealing with a gang with a badge.. Sometimes , with the judges there are many conflicts of interest, but you will never know. Sink your teeth into this and pass it on....And please, learn some law because obviously, the cops follow protocol not the Constitution.. Get Constitutional Law for dummies or any book. Cops don't have continuing education. Because of the rampant alcoholism, they should be breathalyzed after every incident and before they can start our tax payer police cars.. Many of these guys are void of empathy. We the People need to enforce the law.

I know several people in that area and the surrounding areas who couldn't get an attorney to touch their slam dunk cases against the police. Even after the officers themselves were arrested, convicted and sentenced to prison in their cases, not a single attorney would represent them. After two years of calling everyone they could find, nothing. The "Good ol boy's system" is alive and well in Texas

It takes hundreds of thousands of dollars just to get to that silver lining. I don't know many people that have that kind of money. Probably none.

@@werenotfree6412 There are many ways to pursue a legal case when you are not rich like everyone thinks you have to be. Many civil rights groups would take the case, many lawyers work on Pro Bono, there's lots of legal paperwork that an individual can complete, there's sources on line, you can raise funds etc. The point is, if you believe in your case then you can get it taken care of without breaking the bank.

Unfortunately, cops are corrupt and are stripping us of our rights while crooks in the court uphold the violent abuse of our born rights.

I've seen that first dude who was speaking Spanish (yes he speaks English too😊), Ismael Rincon, before. He has a channel, Corner News, and was recently featured on the channel Don Andre Investigates because Ricon was eating in a parking lot because he was having a diabetic issue. It was after the pandemic curfew, as he'd been driving home from work, and they arrested him. What struck me was that he's SUPER chill. He holds his ground but is so mild mannered and soft spoken, it's awesome.

It's too bad we can't publicly shame every police officer, prosecutor and judge involved in this fiasco. It'd be nice to see them refused service at all local businesses like grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. Deny daycare, medical and dental services. Make them outcasts for this behavior.
He called cops for help; they broke down his door and arrested him instead
