Clean often if you sew regularly to avoid repair man. I recommend the machine quilting brushes by Quilt in a Day. They are thin but clean those feed dogs and bobbin area beautifully. If you can't find those brushes just buy a cheap makeup up brush. Do not use compressed air to clean machine, vacuum it better. Thanks for the tutorial.

Thank you for the tips!!!! I usually clean my overlocker with a makeup brush since it's easier to open it up, but I had never tried cleaning my sewing machine by myself. I'll try to do that to avoid it getting to this stage. Poor thing!

The dress looks beautiful! So sorry about your machine. 😢 I’m glad you were able to get it serviced. I have a feeling you were right about why the skirt seam was bubbling. I watched someone else who did something similar (joined two skirt panels that were cut on different directions of the grain, one on grain and one on the bias) and she had the exact same problem. It’s crazy how much of a difference it makes. Happy holidays to you! Looking forward to what’s in store for 2025.
