I love these shoes. Nike finally released an actual 'ACG' shoe. I have owned several pairs of ACG shoes that weren't 'all conditions' like they say. I really like that they have used a gore-tex membrane to water proof them as well. These are perfect for the gorpcore scene, they can finally compete with the adidas terrex goretex shoes except these are fashionable af. I bought the juniper fog colorway when they first released, they sold out within 5 minutes! I am gonna use these for urban fishing in industrial and downtown settings just to look gorp af, but fashionable lol. Great video, love the outfits, subscribed!

I really appreciate the sub!! it means a lot. I agree that these would bang with a gorp fit! also since it actually has technical performance in the shoe/boot, it'll fit right in with gorpcore. I've looked at the Adidas terrex gore-tex shoes and liked them but wasn't completely sold on them! So when I saw these I knew I wanted them. I was so close to getting the juniper colorway, I think objectively they look better in that color. I only went with black for styling versatility!

Great video, love that you show us all the details you talked about (like putting the shoe on). Personally, I find the collar VERY tight/hard to get my foot on despite having a smaller foot. I was definitely surprised it went in so easily for you. I think I'll just have to put it on gingerly, otherwise, I have to pull on the heel pull tab really hard, and that might rip at one point... For the laces, try using a berluti knot. Never have laces untie itself again, and it'll reduce the slack.

@@corbincore yeah the pull tabs are definitely key. But they're single stitched, so I'm concern over their durability in the long run

he had no problems to wear the shoes just cause he was wearing a thin pair of cotton socks. When you are going for a walk, during winter, on the snow, or hiking, you are going to wear a good pair of smartwool socks, to name a good company. They are thick and no way you can stick your feet inside that shoe/sock. In other videos they said the same thing. Vey good shoes but...Probably Adidas terrex cold ready or GTX are much way better for comfort (or another new pair of ACG shoes).

Do the Nike ACG Air Terra Antarktik GTX have any all important arch 🦶🏻support? Because the cool Nike ISPA Air Max 270 unfortunately had zero arch support, so I reluctantly returned them. All these expensive top-of-the-line sneakers should have Nikes “Running” innersoles in them!

I put my hand in and did feel some arch support! I wouldn't say it has outstanding support, but it is there. I know these have the Zoom fly midsole but not sure about the insole! I googled a little bit about nike zoom fly arch support and have found some saying "arch support is neutral"

Gotta disagree with you on the breathability of leather shoes. Comparing all my leather dress shoes with my Goretex lined Solomon hiking boots, the artificial stuff is at best equal and most likely inferior in breathability. I don’t want to get my leather work boots wet, I’d prefer to dunk my hiking boots in water but when the liquid is coming from the inside (in the form of sweat) then I’d prefer leather.

I would say yes. its beet very snowy in colorado recently and they have worked amazing. even went hiking in the snow. However note that they are not insulated ! I'm sure you canadians have a lot of wool socks

Corbin yes sir. I would have copped deez, but i already have 2 waterproof shoes from nike: af1 gtx wntr and pegasus turbo shield. The midsole of these with that crescent shaped heel and toe is pretty much identical to the new pegasus.

I has a full length zoom air bag inside the shoe. Those acg cargo pants go well with those shoes. This is a must get for me I will get this color way and the green.

when i very first tried them on, i thought "maybe i should have gone up 1/2 a size" but honestly after putting them both on and wearing them for a minute or so, they feel totally fine. I think its just a funky feel at first with that big supportive toe cap. I would say go TTS.

5:40 is a shot of me putting them on! I wouldn't worry about damaging the ripstop, its a very durable fabric. if you undo the laces more, you can open up the upper more which might make it easier!
