I can hear every type of music from early rock and roll all the way up to today's punk rock.... I wish I had a grandma that can play the guitar because she would never holler at me and say turn it down

Hey, I'm one of Mrs. Jackson's grandchildren. Though, by blood she was only my step-grandmother, she held much of the values in music that I hold dear. She supported me, and only onceks I felt exploited, but instantly recognized the chances she provided me. She supported my screenwriting, even as she pushed my musical talents. I have nothing but respect and love, for my "Rockin' Granny". But, sometimes, I regret beating her so often at pool, and embarrassing her, and myself, in front of Dave Brown, our local newsman. Who knew, rocking out on a violin could result in being grounded for six months. #NeverGiveUs

i’d love to learn more about your career. you mentioned screenwriting, has any of your work been turned into a play or movie? if not is there anywhere they are published? i’d love to see the influence, if any, that your grandma imparted on your work.

I met Cordell when she first came to New York. She was a great, great Musical talent far beyond what even her fans recognized... But she a better human being.
