Great video to end the core series! I personally find these moves a little bit difficult to perform with strict form but I suppose hanging leg raises and some stretching will do the trick! It would be helpful if you could provide a mini-routine for abs consisting of those exercises providing some sets, reps or time!!!

Thanks! And yes, we've all been through that journey. Keep on top of Movement P+P, rest well and see a physio if you ever need to! It can be a slow journey, but it's definitely worth it! Seth

Nice guys! Great info. I try to mix up core work sometimes hanging and sometimes on dip bars as that will help with my goals for things like l-sit to handstand and planche control. It’s all about that carry over :). Then if I really want a challenge I use rings 💪

Hi, can you suggest some easier variants of oblique exerscises for those of us who don't have enough grip and core stranght to do hanging exercises and are just starting out? Some other exercises then side planks, btw i just found your channel and it's super awsome

Awesome video guys. You both are very engaging to listen to, and always have great content. Because many calisthenics movements train the core at the same time, do you guys recommend doing separate core training? I am trying to get dead strong in the basics before moving on to skills, and I have been doing separate core training at the end of my sessions (M, W, F)...but curious if I should change things up. Thanks again guys!

Hey guys, i just started 2 weeks ago with calisthenics! As you mentioned in your previous video that you're always training core in each exercise. Now as a beginner, is it okay if i go for 1 pull day, 1 push day and 2 core days? Or mix some core exercices in these four days? Really nice videos!

Niels Hi, welcome to the School of Calisthenics! There are loads of ways to set up your training week and separating push and pull is one of them. If I was you as a beginner I’d probably go for push and pull in the same session, that way you get to create a stimulus for adaptation twice a week instead of once. Also no problem to add in some extra core. We have done a couple of podcasts on this so maybe check them out. Hope that helps. Tim

Hey Ahmed, likely some tightness in the Hamstrings - If you experience any severe pain, get a physio to look into it for you. But a burn may occur if Hamstrings are tight. Seth
