After the 12th gen, Intel did not release a new CPU, but overclocked the same 12th generation and added some useless e-cores to it and sold it under the name of the new generation. In fact, the core ultra is 13th gen which was released two years late.

@@kkoteyka You are incorrect. The 7950X is better than the 14900k at work tasks, the 9950X is also better. The 7950X3D is about the same but WAY more efficient. And then for the people who just need "the most performance" for work you have Threadrippers which Intel has no response to. in Servers AMD has been destroying Intel since like 2018 or 2019. AMD pretty much has the full spectrum of use cases on lockdown right now which is why Intel is performing so terribly financially.

Do keep in mind that the U9 285K at CORE (ha) is a workstation chip. Its gaming can be done but its highly inefficient. Not to mention voltage sensitive just like the 13900k and 14900k. The 7800X3D also only draws about 20-40w under full load and with a good cooler never goes above 55C. Thats in an unlocked state. The U9 could be pushing 180w-220w in an unlocked state and gets above 95C under very good coolers just like its predecessors. This added on top of the fact the 7800X3D can be found for as low as 430 new and 350 used. The U9 starts at the 600 mark...

@oxi4825 I7-10700f I7-10700K I7-11700K I7-11700F I5-10600K I5-11600K I7-12700K I9-10900K I9-11900K I9-12900K I5-12600K I7-13700K (pushing it on voltage issues via microcode) I5-13600K I9-13900K and KS models as well as 14900K and KS should be avoided or at the bare minimum updated with the microcode patches. Most if not all of these chips are also cheaper.

Ultra 9 is a apu comes with npu ,ai inbuild graphics . they don't need graphics card for programming casual gaming . Intel i7 14700k and i9 12600k is used for gaming
