This one means a lot to me, I just ended a relationship that kinda felt the same way how Corey explains it. We were not meant to be together but when we were it felt magical, we had to end it for various reasons. I’ll probably never see her again but I’ll always have a element of love for her. Bittersweet

It is to me the saddest song ever written... Just ripping your heart and stomping on it. . Like he say IT IS heavy and it is metal. That's what this music is about.. feelings ..deep hidden places inside us that can be free with the music. There's two version of how that song hits depending of the roles in this. To me it's everything I deserved and ever wished could have been said to me. It's a sorry letter that thanks to Corey I can hear from man as much as I want to suffer from it. . It's the respect, the humility and the sensibility that should have come with it. Corey is something else as I vocalist. It's the suffering. That what's makes him authentic. When you come from traumas at a young age you can spot those who's been in that road. Thanks to this man ♥️🖤

This hit hard man. I remember laying in bed after 1 bottle and half of Jack listening to pandora and this song came on. I was barely awake and my wife at the time was on her knees at the left side of my bedside. She was crying and praying for me holding my hand for me to stop drinking. Im gonna say that was probably the beginning of our falling marriage. We’re divorced now. She was my first and true love. Its been 5 years since our divorce and I still haven’t moved on. I hope this hell and pain ends soon so I can finally stop drinking. Im going through alcohol withdrawals at the moment as I write this and this pain hurts so much more. I never understood this song until now August 15, 2024. I can relate to this song and it makes my throat hurt so much. Thank you corey Im not alone. 😢

One of my favorite songs period, not just from Slipknot. It’s like he goes through the stages of grief throughout the song. Then by the end of the song he rips it apart. So heavy and emotional, this is why ppl love him. Everyone at one point or another can relate

Sometimes we love so hard and intensely that it becomes destructive to us. The highs are so high they are not even on the scale, but the lows are so low it feels like falling into a black hole ad infinitum if any words could actually describe it. A connection and attraction so strong it's unsustainable.

I love this song. It hits you hard. This past Friday I filed for divorce after almost 25 years from someone I thought I would spend the rest of my life with. That evening my friends took me out for drinks and karaoke. I'm not a good singer but I enjoy it. I like to walk around singing and "work the crowd." I decided to sing this song, so I sat on my bar stool and let it go. I think it was the best song I have ever sung. It is helping with the closure and being able to move forward.

Hate how there's people that are still saying Snuff is a Stone Sour song. If 2 Slipknot members say it's a Slipknot song. Then it's a Slipknot song whether the band uses it or not.

Thank you Corey. I just started experiencing the worst heartbreak i’ve ever felt. I’ve wanted her since we were still in school, even when she had a boyfriend and was unofficially engaged to him. I was dragged into hell and she dragged me out and gave me the experience of feeling true love for the first time in my life. Every girl i’ve been with or dated since I met her hasn’t lasted long because everytime i closed my eyes she was all i could see. I love u with all my heart B. I’m so sorry I fucked up. For everything its worth.

What I find so very often from those who really dont know most of Metal and the history of ballads are one with each other.Theres this misunderstanding that Metal is never about love,or feelings as such.Truth is its been since the very begining.Sanitarium,My Darkest Hour, The Ballad,Fade to Black on and on we go. We love and hurt as anyone does.We absolutley show it in ways not most recongnize.

For me the verse that hits the hardest is "if you still care dont ever let me know", I'm well over her but if i get a letter from her i know i will move everything in my power to be with her again, is so damn fucked, she broke up with me june 6th 2021, still have something i feel, Everything Ends describes it nicely with the way Corey's voice cracks when he says "everything reminds me of her, god i wish i didn't care anymore", if i could go back in time to 2017 when i met her i would slap myself in the face and let myself know it is not worth it

I know this video is old but I had to comment. If someone asked me "What's your all time favorite song"? I would picked this song. I first heard it in my college English class. We had to write a paper on it. What we believed the song was about. The paper I wrote compared to what I would write today , let me just say before I had never truly experienced a heart ache. The kind that steals your soul. This song helped me realize I had to let go. If I didn't I would never be able rise from those ashes like a phoenix, through the flame. II get to see them perform in July at Inkcarceration and I really hope to hear this song.

When someone experiences coming alive through another. And what follows ..you suddenly realize one day you could never be whole without them. You push the immediate panic and fear out of your mind.. because they will always be there right….in the next scene night after night futile desperate tears are the only comfort..reminding you that that Love is still alive..and deceived by your own hope tormented years pass slowly..ask me how I know. In a live version I heard Corey Taylor say it’s hard for him to get through that song in front of an audience….! I know I couldn’t do. At “I still press your letters to my lips” …Id lose it. Lol Thanks for your comments. They were really good.
