G&L is Fender. The down turn of Fender started with the CBS buy out. G&L is the real deal. I'm 73 and have been onboard with G&L since the early 80's. I'm still pushing the Blues. You want a Strat buy a G&L Legacy. Peace Los Angeles

Not entering the contest because I already own an ASAT Classic (thin line with a Rosewood board). It’s the first nice electric guitar I’ve ever owned and I almost cry when I touch it. The MFD is one of the most underrated neck pickups speaking as someone who mostly plays jazz.

My man tearing it up. G&L's, especially their American made guitars, smoke the competition. For Strat and Tele style guitars I prefer G&L. For P90's it's Yamaha Revstar. I've owned two Les Paul's BTW. A late 80's and an early 90's. I sold both of them.

So I went looking at a G&L Fullerton ASAT CLASSIC and I'm impressed. G&L I played was light, the body reminds me of an Ibanez AZS Prestige and Fender telecaster, bottom line is G&L is a better built guitar than a Fender, it's a Fender on steroids ‼️👍

Its the only strat i love all the positions in. On more 60s style ones that cost more that ive tried sound incredible in the neck and good but not as good in the bridge while the in betweens dont speak to me. It's the greatest guitar I've ever owned. Mine is a Indonesian ASAT classic tribute. It doesn't quite sound like a tele. Not in a bad way. They just have two distinct sounds. The ONLY thing and I do mean the ONLY thing I don't like about the MFD pickups is they're noisy. I haven't ever had the privilege of playing in their humbucker selection. But the MFD single coils sound great clean but are hella noisy in high gain situations.

Congrats on 50k! Can you please do a lesson on that muting technique where you hit a bunch of strings but only one sounds? Love that sound! It's easy enough to do if you're only playing one note, but I'm finding it really hard to move around and create a melody while muting all strings but one.

@@kevindean1327 Usually those players are already playing the brand and the company approaches them, or a company that has a similar product will lure them away with a signature model. G&L had Jerry Cantrell for a while. They really need to get their products into the hands of influencers of all kinds, not just KZbinrs, but bands, retailers, media (movies, TV, ), programs... G&L also has the "headstock problem" which a lot of people don't like and I think would be an easy fix w/o a major change.
