Fender hasn't even stopped using the faulty cup output jack on telecasters let alone use other innovations Leo did after leaving fender. All G&Ls have a plate jack.

Flat-sawn neck?? Should be quarter sawn for max stability. I have the Tribute ASAT Classic Bluesboy, so yeh - deep dive there please :)

I am definitely a Telecaster fan, I have an Xotic XTC1, the G&L sounded great and he doesn’t like purple metallic? I would definitely have to get a chambered one though. Thanks for the deep dive!

Yes please do a tribute ASAT Special ( I vote for Irish Ale ). I have not seen a G&L in person but when someone plays one online it's always my favorite 💯✌🤟🤘

Please do a deep dive of the G & L Tribute series when time permits (and I'm personally quite smitten with the aesthetic of the G & L Fullerton Deluxe ASAT! Thank you for this deep dive, this guitar sounds as gorgeous as it looks 💜✨ Depending on how it feels in hand, I would consider getting it chambered. I subjectively prefer a lighter guitar. Class act to include Leo Fender's stationery and business card. Glad you framed it, that's a keep for sure. Loved this video so much I had to watch it twice~

I really wish people would stop perpetuating the myth that shielding the control cavity does anything. It literally doesn't do jack shit, so you might as well stop wasting your time. That's not where the electromagnetic field is being generated. It's generated around the pickups and that's the only place where shielding can ever make a difference.
