What is the written recipe and how do I cook in the crockpot?

There are lots of similar recipes on google (not necessarily veganized yet) and this is what I have boiled them down to in years of perfecting it. As for crockpot, I haven’t made it that way in a while, but I want to say it’s 3-4 hours on low or medium. You can try high heat for less time, but you need to be mindful to make sure it isn’t burning on the outsides.

It's super sweet, not because of the corn nor the sour cream, but Jiffy Mix contains a lot of sugar and is very cake-like due to the high ratio of flour to cornmeal. Jiffy Mix is actually corn muffin mix and is marketed as such. Not cornbread. Yes, many add sugar to their cornbread recipe, but it's still not nearly as sweet as Jiffy Mix.
