People must look at where they were when God gave them the rules for food and cleanliness. They were in the desert, with no access to unlimited water and fridges, so God gave them these laws. Peter had the vision about the food and he was given the vision by God so there you can see God was making the difference, this was not a man made instruction it was given by God.

Here is just a reminder of some of the people that will be destroyed by God. This is an endtimes prophesy. Isaiah 66:15-17 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind,to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. 16. For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many. 17. They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swines flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the Lord.

Brother Gerry, please brother 😭 how can you make a statement about the dietary commandments not being up held when just st prior to this sermon you yourself witnessed that our prince of peace and wonderful counselor exclaimed that not one jot or tiddle would pass from the loving institution that our Most High El' spoke to Mosheh of His mountain? Please brother reconsider your statement on this matter, because It is very conflicting and is very misleading to many people. I would be inclined to think that it's more a personal conviction and not truth.😢 May our loving Father's Spirit of Truth lead you 🙏 in this, Shalom.

Do you really want to be called least in the kingdom of God? Is it really your goal to teach others to be least in the kingdoms of God? Read the whole passage. You can eat the pig, but it has physical and spiritual consequences. You can skip God’s appointed times, and teach others to do the same, but you will be least in the kingdom. I have no idea why anyone would choose to aim below the target.

How do you explain Pual in Romans 14:20 saying all foods are clean "Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble."

@@nickt6746 Context is important in understanding what is being talked about here. It is no saying that it is OK to eat what God has forbidden to be eaten. It is about eating meat as opposed to eating vegetables. *Romans 14:2 One person has faith that he may eat all things, but the one who is weak eats only vegetables. 3 The one who eats is not to regard with contempt the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat is not to judge the one who eats, for God has accepted him.* Any time food is mentioned in the New Testament, it is important to remember that food is that which God has approved to be eaten from what He has created.

@@nickt6746 "The least in heaven are still in heaven." That is a very big assumption. Scripture does not say that. What Scripture says it that those in heaven will be calling them least. Matthew 7:21-23 shows those who do not keep God's Commandments thought they were saved but were not. Taking that in light of Matthew 5:17-19, those being called least, by those in heaven, are not in heaven. Messiah could prove me wrong but that is my understanding of these Scriptures. John sheds more light on God's Commandments. He says keeping God's Commandments is how we love God and love our neighbor. God's Commandments were teaching us how to love. And I am not judging anyone. I am showing what the Bible says. Shalom!

Jesus did not abolished the law and the prophets, not one or tittle will pass away till heaven and earth pass away... we should obey even the least of the commandments and teach it... but for the love of pork, forget everything Jesus said! Typical false teaching!

@@nickt6746 context is about food sacrificed to idols and which days should fast.. food is already defined in Leviticus 11 so 1st century Christians which are primarily Jews never eat non-food (pig, shrimps, etc.) Also, the disciples cannot teach against the Laws of God lest they will be labeled as false prophets.

@@lansan3430 Great point! How do you explain Galatians 6:15 where Paul says physical circumcision is not necessary. "Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation." Or Acts 10:15 where Peter is presented with unclean animals that God now made clean, and instead of obeying God and eating, Peter denies God 3 times and only considers gentiles to be clean, not all animals as God has told him? Or Hebrews 7:12 where Paul says the law has been changed? "when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the law as well."

@@nickt6746 Paul's letters are really problematic because its difficult to understand. as Peter mentioned in 2 Peter 3:15-16. It is commonly used by Pastors to teach against Sabbath, dietary laws and feasts, and other God''s law which they don't like. Paul is actually teaching that our obedience to the law cannot justify us, cannot erase our sins and make us innocent before God, like circumcision which is being taught by false teachers during that time that once you are circumcised, you are already saved as well. This is a hard teaching and will go against many mainstream doctrines. Please search for 119 ministries youtube channel, they might answer many of your questions in full detail. Goodluck with seeking God, His word.

Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. From the mouth of God himself. God does not change. In the case of Peter the vision was not to tell Peter he can eat anything, it was for him to not call any man uncommon or unclean. Read the whole chapter of Acts 10 and you will see the message God was relaying to Peter

"Until heaven and earth pass away" is apocalyptic language. I think this happened when Jesus died on the cross, having lived a sinless life. At that point Yahweh's law was abolished, and Jesus was free to establish his own law (since Jesus essentially defeated Yahweh). Jesus was NOT the son of Yahweh, rather they were brothers and sons of El Elyon (God the Most High).
@danielnelson9411
@danielnelson9411 11 ай бұрын
"Until heaven and earth pass away" is at the very end of prophecy. Right after that, a new heaven and new earth are given. At that time, God's Law will be written on everyone's heart. They will all know God and His Law will be a part of them. At that time, no one will need to be taught about God or His Law. Therefore, the written form of God's Law can disappear but God's Law is never gone since it is written on our hearts. God's Law has not been abolished. Sounds like you are mixing pagan mythology with scripture in the rest of what you said. Shalom!

Not pagan, see Deut. 32:8-9 which speaks of the (70) sons of El who were each given an earthly nation to rule, and Yahweh's portion was Israel. Also Psalm 82, which says "You are gods, but you'll die like men (because of your injustice)". As the bible was touched my more and more edits over time, these are the areas which which were not "cleaned up" adequately. They refer to a time when Yahweh was not supreme ruler of the world, but was simply one of the 70 sons of El. Your self-righteous megachurch will not teach this. You have to do the deep digging for yourself.
