To swap the Blacktop 4AGE into a Corolla E11; It is possible to keep the stock C52 gearbox? Or is it better to switch to C56?

As long as the clutch bellhousing fits the 4A-GE I dont see why not. You just have to be aware of the ratios. For a peaky engine such as the blacktop, the shorter the better, because the engine is torqueless at low rpm, you need to rev it up to keep it in the torque range.
