Jake! I've watched all your videos over the past couple of weeks - your content is brilliant & it's been great to follow your journey from Taipei. Strangely enough I recently discovered an imbalance with my running form where my right side is weaker than my left (I think it originates in the psoas/hip flexor), with a bit of an anterior pelvic tilt - I ran my first marathon last year and never paid much attention to my form / economy as I was just concentrating on getting the miles in. Post marathon i've struggled to get back into things and couldn't figure out why... but since watching your videos, I've picked up all your nuggets of advice and have really been able to relate to your own struggles and how you've dealt with it - it's really helped me to notice and fix my own imbalance, so thank you! Through stretching, mobility, and strength work my stride has opened up, posture has improved, and my 5k time went from 19:30 to 18:30 - in a few weeks! Coming across your channel has been a real blessing, and I hope to continue watching your journey through life with running and travel (post Corona of course). Keep up the great work, stay happy and healthy, and I hope your running form is back to 100% soon!
