Seeing Tommy Boyle as Phil Jennings inspired me to go back to the 70s and watch him as Frank Bradley with Bet. That was such a good storyline with some amazing acting from Goodyear and Boyle. That whole episode where they’re in the abandoned house gave me chills. Anyway, just reminiscing when the performances were better.

Poison Ivy was always a curmudgeon, Bert was too kind for her. But yes, this is her spiralling into her religious fervor. And let's not forget, she appeared to Vera when Vera was walking around Ivy's house after Ivy died. Even after death, she had to prove her belief was right.
