Your right they aren't... Many keep comparing it to the flu. It's actually more lethal than the flu but it's much more that factors into why people should be concerned about the Coronavirus. People don't walk around contagious with the flu for 12 days with no symptoms but the Coronavirus does. We also have a vaccine for the flu to prevent mass spread however we don't for the Coronavirus and even if we thought we found one today, it would still take more than a year of research on rats then humans to confirm a working cure that would still have to he massed produced globally. My 2 year old about 3 months ago had a slight runny nose with no congestion. He was acting find the night I put him to bed but literally hours later he became very uncomfortable and by morning he had became lethargic and was having problems breathing. We went immediately to the doctor where they confirmed his oxygen level were 82. They called an ambulance immediately and gave him oxygen and 2 treatments which push his oxygen levels back up by the time he made it to the hospital. Anyways he ended up spending 2 days in the hospital where they diagnosed him with a slight bit of pneumonia. If a slight bit of pneumonia can do that to a toddler, I can't imagine what a more severe case could do which just another factor why people ahould be more concerned about a foreign sickness none of our bodies know that causes pneumonia. This is why so many are still sick in hospital and very few have been released.

@@danedickerson You've let fear-mongerers like Ethan and the media brainwash you into being scared about something that they do not understand. Influenza kills 35,000 Americans yearly, a country with one of the best health care systems in the world. Infectious disease experts say that although China has thousands of cases, there are probably thousands more who have the symptoms and do not even realize it, or have already recovered without the help of the Chinese officials. So we cannot base the lethality rate this early into an outbreak. This is a time to be more cautious, and not scaring people silly.
