Good morning Jamie. It really was a shame. Throw in about 50 experiences like that and that's when I decided to stop saving the world and live in my truck. It's amazing how many people you hear from when you can do something good for them and how many people you never hear from again when you stop. Pretty bizarre. I'm really impressed with that whole lighthouse structure and the chapel in the restaurant will be nice additions. It's going to be beautiful and we will get to look at it for free! I hope you're well today friend. It was supposed to rain here most of the day but the sun is shining which is a big bonus.

Right now I'm nice and cozy in my bed and under three blankets and I do not want to get out. I think it stopped raining so I need to check the weather and see what's going on for the rest of the day. That CCTX North Beach area is a maze of construction! My granddaughter wants to go to the Texas State Aquarium in July with her husband and two sons...I wish them luck! Thanks

Good evening friends. If she gets a chance may I suggest to follow the aquarium on Facebook. There are certain Sundays where they only charge a two dollar entry fee. I believe it's usually around 36 or $37 on other days. Even at that price it is well worth it

Hello friend. I think I have talked about it before but I was on a new blood pressure medicine and I almost passed out going over that bridge when I was driving for Uber. I was fine for about a year and then all of a sudden I started having anxiety about that particular bridge but almost any bridge now. They say it's really common as you get older. Maybe it's just common sense. Maybe the good Lord didn't want us 300 feet up in the air for no reason whatsoever. I hope you are well today buddy. I think I pick on you a little bit in tonight's video. 👍😀

That's exactly what the feeling was like buddy. Like I was spinning down a hole. I had a passenger in the car and I actually said out loud well well well and kind of brought myself out of it. There is this one stretch of highway in Arkansas where all of a sudden you're driving mountain top to mountain top and I had the same feeling there. I've crossed it three times since without any issues but very apprehensive when I do cross them. Isn't it fun getting old?

About George, I understand 100% as I've seen it, I've dealt with it, and it's sad what level people put themselves, very unfortunate. You are awesome to have done what you did. It's hard to want to help people and then really figure out that they are just helping themselves, this is not a criticism but they do have a whole different mindset than most people, sometimes their fault sometimes due to a bad past experience. Missed this so getting to get a better view of the light house. I think they still need to put in the glass where the light will go. Perhaps they haven't gotten in the light yet. Who knows. It's going to be real nice when finished. There is a Finns in Galveston that is a good place to eat. Haven't been down there in so long I guess it's still there. With all the killings going on down in Houston not so sure I would want to adventure down there. Oh well. Enjoyed the drive and thanks.

I used to drive 100,000 miles a year. Last year I was down to 2,000. High bridges caused me to stop driving for a living. There's a whole boring story of how it developed. I understand how you feel about it. Good luck.

I'm sorry to hear that my friend. I think I might be in that same category. Oddly enough it seems worse when I'm coming from the other direction. This new bridge that they are building is much higher than the existing one so that would definitely be the end of my driving

I have eaten there quite a few times. I find it best if you stick with the hamburger. They have a pretty good bottled beer selection as well.
