Ok, never commented before because I am not a Jackal, I am more of a Hyena, laughing at the scraps the Jackals leave behind for you to pick at. This is where you are doing your service to those of us at home, just as it was during the pandemic. This is like the Sea Captain when things were insane. Things are still insane and I think the Jackals agree with Hyenas like me. We need someone to enjoy being absurd. They may like to watch you to see your humanity and point it out. I like to watch you point out your humanity in the ever increasing absurdness of corrections.This segment fills the void left by Conan. He left big shoes to fill, but you have filled them with this. Even if normal people don't get this comedy, why pander to someone other than the people who absolutely love the comedic genius of this. This is the greatest modern day late night segment, and your entire crew knows it. The Jackals know it, and the rest of us know it too.

Agreed. I’ve watched since the very first Correction episode and never commented before. I worked night shifts in a long term care unit on an island in rural Alaska during Covid. It was dismal. I introduced my nursing coworkers to Corrections and the audacity of laughter got us through. Thank you so much for this gift. And for telling us to stay safe, wash our hands, and that you love us. I might not be here without kind words like yours. If you feel done Seth, I guess we will have to suck it up. But I would grieve the loss of this unique little niche of internet that you’ve created. Maybe you could see if Hank Green is up for a Jackal adoption? Thank you for loving us, and thank you for making us laugh until we cry. Corrections is a gift. The nostrils are mostly on the top part of the beak, so if bird gain had life support attached for breathing apparatus two straws as tubes to the bird nostril type things (with a specific name I don't know) would have likely been done had more time been given to make the mask. Been watching Corrections since episode 1. Back then, I didn't even really watch the late night show, but I thought the concept of Corrections looked like an interesting idea, I found Seth to be generally pretty funny, and I really enjoyed the 1st ep. So I kept watching it, week after week. And it just kept getting better somehow. (NBC will be glad to know it even got me watching the actual show.) Something about the vibe of Corrections, weirdly wholesome, somewhat deranged, never afraid to take a huge swing at the most obscure, absurd joke, really matches my sense of humor. And now here we are, 94 episodes in, and Corrections is the funniest thing anyone in the "Late Night TV host" space is doing. Corrections is like pure, distilled comedy. When a Corrections joke really lands, damn. Now, after all those episodes, it's wild that THIS is the one that made me have to leave a comment. I just really felt the urge to express how funny Corrections is, espically if you watch every week. The way Seth sets up the payoffs in this episode really got me. He opens with Birdbane, like Babe Ruth pointing to the stands. But no, he's not going to do a Bane impression. No way. Goes back to the fake ad bit we've been following for a while now. Oh, you think it's Kelly again? Nope. Then the googly eye bit, perfect. We go to a classic mug bit, no one does funny mugs like the team at Late Night. He should send Fallon the 2nd mug. Then we get to see Seth's hands, oh no fakeout this time, those are really his hands. Ok. Then Birdbane. So funny, so stupid, so wonderful. Then he pulls out Robin, and goes over the top. Bravo. Thank you for Corrections. It gives me genuine laughs and joy every week.

Seth, I don’t think you realise how valuable Corrections and the community around it are. I’ve had a truly horrendous lend to 2023 and start of 2024 and Corrections has been a reliable break from everything horrid and has given me laughter and levity and pedantic debates about grammar and it’s absolutely been the safety valve that I needed. Thank you. I’m not sure I’d cope if it ended whilst certain situations were ongoing.

To repeat, that's 94 of the noun "corrections" but only 93 of the verb "corrections", also known as correcting (present tense) or corrected (past tense). But given how often Seth has to correct things from previous correction episodes, at best there is 75% of truly resolving errors with a correction, so that makes this more like the 79th episode of correcting (verb). Or 80 episodes of corrections (noun). Though I'm sure the Jackals (with whom I don't identify) would consider it a mercy for a "Thanos span" to bring that down by half, and even then would consider that to be generous. #nocorrectionscancellation #stopthecancel

I am so sorry to hear that the joy of doing corrections has gone. As many have said, I do look forward to corrections every week, however, as much as I love this segment, a big part of it is the fact that you seemed to love it too. I want this to go on as long as you love it. This is one brilliant ongoing joke. I truly believe that spending the 24+ hours to watch the entirety of corrections is beyond worth it.
