Liverpool were robbed off all 3 points in the final minute of stoppage time after referee Michael Oliver and VAR Stuart Attwell decided not to award a penalty kick for Jeremy Doku's high boot on Alexis Mac Allister. Following the game, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp made his feelings clear on the decision by labelling it a 100% foul. John, you should check out how dodgy and even corrupt the refereeing decisions against Forest have been since Christmas alone! We have had so many poor decisions go against us. That is aside from the Red Card Jakob Moder of Brighton should have been given after his horrendous out of control 2 footed foul on Neco Williams as, had Neco's leg been locked in position, he would have ended up in hospital with a severely broken leg that night! It is one of those types of fouls that Refs had been told to eradicate this last few seasons as they are leg breakers and are always straight reds, never just a yellow, well not any more that is, unless it's against Forest. VAR also couldn't intervene on Forest's behalf either when Willy Boly was sent off against Bournemouth for a second yellow card yet he had cleanly won the ball and was then fouled himself yet the ref couldn't wait to get his Yellow Card out followed by the Red Card for a foul that was made on himself, not the other way around! Then there was the case of 3 matches in succession where Forest should have been awarded a stonewall penalty but yet again VAR didn't step in to correct a clear error by the referee on the day. If you wish to get those confirmed and you have Sky Sports TV, then check out RefWatch as all the people on the show, including the former head of the PGMOL Dermot Gallagher himself couldn't understand why those penalties weren't awarded other than the fact that it would have meant Forest would have either equalised or mainly gone ahead at that point of the matches! With all the decisions that have gone against us, we could possibly have had a further 12 points or more and that is just since Nuno Espírito Santo took over, let alone the other refereeing shockers Steve Cooper saw with Forest both this season and last!

The Doku situation is well covered in Law 12. "Using excessive force that could endanger an opponents safety..red card offence"...THAT IS THE EXACT WORDING. "Endanger: Meaning. FFP for Refs can't come a moment too soon! Another way of looking at it is (well I would wouldn't I) is it just redressed the two points Liverpool were lucky to get last week thanks to that other match official at the City Ground. Where the redress for my club is lord knows, and probably won't matter anyway with the announcement of more protection by the PL for the chosen six, while handing out selective sackcloths and ashes to those who have the nerve to at least try and compete and make a game of it in their first season back. There is more bad reffing over the entire league. I know other teams have had some bad calls, but as a Forest fan I can only list ours. Second yellow for Boly vs Bournemouth, Not a pen vs West Ham, Giving the ball back to Liverpool after a head injury while we had possession, No pen for Newcastle, Toney moving the ball (happens all the time and is never called out, so this is less annoying) That’s all I remember and that’s just under Nuno. You could do an extensive video on the failure of the refs this season, and the impact for us feels like a solid 4-5 points handed over by the 12th man

Direct free kick A direct free kick is awarded if a player commits any of the following offences against an opponent in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force: charges jumps at kicks or attempts to kick Doku went for and played the ball and his foot then touched MacAllister. If it didn't hurt him, it's not dangerous or reckless play. If MacAllister clutched a part of his chest that Doku did not touch then there is no argument about dangerous of reckless. According to the rules, it adds up to No Penalty.

Similar decisions will be made in most if city remaining games if things are close near the 90 minute mark. Liverpool have been robbed more than any other club (especially this season) yet we still get called liVARpool it makes me laugh. PGMOL and the premier league are rats only a court case or 2 against them will change anything. I played football to a decent level until my early 20’s, I’ve coached for over a decade and I’ve worked with with young referees for years and you are talking absolute nonsense. FYI, I’m a Man United fan born and raised in South Manchester so have absolutely no bias towards either team but to call if a karate or kung fu kick is a joke. Doku saw the ball and raised his foot to kick it and he kicked it, thats it, there was absolutely no intent whatsoever to kick an opponent.
