It wasn't eaten by a goat or burnt. I have never heard that from any scholar and I have watched my fair share of religious debates against Islam. Please state a source. The Qur'an wasn't even written until the prophets death. I believe it was written in Abu Bakr Calipha. However the case it was written in scripture after a war that killed many people that had learnt the Qur'an by heart. To preserve it for the future generations they wrote it down. Nothing of the original scripture was changed. Prehaps the interpretations, the context and the translations are different but the original one has always been the same. Your claim a goat ate it cause Aisha (peace be upon her) kept the scripture under her bed is false because 1) many people had learnt the Qur'an by heart during that time and even nowadays 2) the whole Qur'an was written after the prophets death 3) even if a goat ate it then other people who learnt it by heart would remember it 4) the prophet taught people before his death the whole Qur'an Two Muslims so far in this single comment section have answered your question. And I can guarantee u there is far wiser Muslims that can give better answers :)

You cannot ignore those verses and then only talk about the verses that SEEM TO SUGGEST he was God. The Quran, like the authentic Torah that was revealed to Moses, and all other divinely revealed books all say there is only ONE God, not three. God has sent messengers to every generation of mankind. Jesus, Moses, Noah, Muhammad, Abraham, David etc. and they all preached the same message = Worship only ONE God, do good and avoid evil. The first of the Ten Commandments that are fundamental to both Jews and Christians is “I am the LORD your God, You shall have no other gods before Me” In multiple verses in the Bible, Jesus denied he was God such as: Jesus spoke to a man who had called him ‘good,’ asking him, ‘Why do you call me good? Fascinating. I still wonder what kind of differences in the Qira'at you are talking about. How many of the 93,000 differences in Qira'at significantly change the meaning? I looked at some of the examples of comparisons between Hafs and Warsh from www.free-minds.org/sites/default/files/WhichQuran.pdf (see below). As you can see, these don't seem to change the meaning significantly and don't seem very consequential. 2:125 in Hafs is WatakhIzu” (You shall take) / In Warsh it is WatakhAzu” (They have taken/made). 3:146 in Hafs is “Qatal” (Fought) / In Warsh it is Qutil” (Were Killed). ( In 3:146 the difference is between a prophet and those with him being killed, while in the other the difference only means that they fought by his side. ) 2:140 in Hafs is “Taquluna” (You Say) / In Warsh it is “Yaquluna” (They Say). 6:96 in Hafs is “Wa Jaal” (Made) / In Warsh it is uρ “Wa JaAl” (Makes). 7:144 in Hafs is “BirisalAti” (My Messages) / In Warsh it is “Birisalati” (My Message). 9:37 in Hafs is “YuDhalu” (Misguided by) / In Warsh it is ” YaDhilu” (Misguide With). 10:2 in Hafs is “LasAhir” (Magician) / In Warsh it is "Lasihr” (Magic). 10:33 (also 10:96) in Hafs is “Kalimat” (Word) / In Warsh it is "KalimAt” (Words).

According to this article on iltifāt ( www.islamic-awareness.org/quran/text/grammar/iltifaat ), there are over 140 examples in the Quran (the same version of the Quran) of transition from 3rd to 1st person, and nearly 100 instances of transition of 1st to 3rd person. For example, in chapter 15 of the Quran ( the same Quran, not different versions quran.com/15 ), you find Allah referred to He in 15:25, 15:86, and referred to as We in 15:9, 5:60, 15:92 and many other places. If these variations in pronouns exist within the same version of the Quran, the standard version, then why would it matter if these variations occurred between different versions? What do you think you are proving here besides something that is already known?

Whether or not you mention that some were killed while fighting doesn't affect the core message. Meanwhile, 43:19 describes the non-believers claiming that angels are female. Whether the angels are described as "servants" just adds extra unnecessary detail that doesn't affect the meaning.... Tafsir even mentions the variant readings. This is not a secret. quranx.com/Tafsirs/3.146 "Al-Jalalayn: How many a prophet has been killed (qutila, a variant reading has qātala, ‘has fought’, the subject of the verb being the person governing it)..." In 38:45 "Our (Allah's) slaves/servants" is referring to Ibrahim, Ishaque, and Ya'qub, similar to the previous verse 38:41 "And remember Our servant Job..." You can find other examples of words in the Quran that are written singular when one would expect plural, such as the word "messenger(s)" in 26:16. That doesn't change the meaning. I am not sure about 46:15 or what " beauty to his parents" is supposed to mean (bad translation?), but the point is that the variants are not meaningful if there is no evidence that reading different Qurans would result in a different understanding the scripture. If the core message of the verses are still the same, then the variants do not carry any real world consequence and it seems like analyzing or counting differences the qiraat are a waste of time.

Would like to help but couldn't find them either! And I am a Muslim since birth! Btw, Qira'at is way of reciting (read out loud) the Qur'an. One of the meaning of Qur'an is The Recital. First word of Qur'an is "Recite". Annually, there is International Recital of Qur'an held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (before COVID). Its called Tilawah. You can Google it. There are many Qira'at there since Islam come to so many tongue with different pronounciation of every word. Like English. Different way of speaking. Different slang. More so with Qur'an. If you think about finding many' versions' of Qur'a'n like many Qira'at, you will definitely be very disappointed.

I mean, if the Quran was indeed revealed to Muhammad in 7 different scripts and 10 different dialects, that would not only make Muhammad a genius (to be able to keep them all straight by memory alone) but such important fact would definitely be stated in the Quran itself, right? Because if it's not there, how can you know, or prove to us, that the 7 ahruf and 10 qiraat argument is not simply a made up excuse, hundreds of years after the fact, to account for script and spoken variants?
