Andy - brilliant review, I picked up a 7000X as a result - thank you! Solved a number of my problems: 7 x 140 RGB fans - enough RGB bling, 1 HD tray allowing PSU cables to fit without squashing, side window for ROG Thor display, 3 SSds, H170 420mm rad in the roof - liked the removable bracket, flexibility on converting horizontal to vertical GPU mounting sliders and keeping away from the glass with no metal cutting, 140mm air flow - non of my 5000 series(3 of them) could do all this... this case ticked ALL the boxes and more. System: 3080ti, 12900x, Hero M/B. Cheers!

Looking at an early '24 rebuild of my dinosaur dual 1080 rig. I like my old Corsair Crystal 570X but cable management was a PITA. In the grand scheme of things it's not a huge expense though. I don't know. I'm torn since going to single GPU is bound to make things cleaner anyways....

I just heard that this cases side panel, despite being able to take upto a 480mm radiator like the front panel, only has holes for 120mm fans, which is surely just an oversight. If the side plate is the same size as the front plate, and the front plate can take 120 or 140mm fans and upto 480mm radiators as well (including a 420mm radiator), then surely it would be incredibly easy to modify the side plate to just make it the same as the one on the front so you also have the option of a 420mm radiator there as well? I (like many other potential customers) would want to mount three 420mm long 30mm thick radiators: 1 on the top, 1 on the side and 1 on the front all at the same time for incredible cooling, stability, longevity, power efficiency and appearance. Could you please feed this back to the manufacturer? Great video, and fingers crossed they listen to the feedback and make this small change - adding a few extra holes to the side panel surely wont cost them anything, and must surely be worth it for the extra sales profits for them? ;p

Great review mate, what would have been super is some dimensions, something none of these reviewers or motherboard manufacturers seem to bother mentioning. Foot print dimensions are very important for limited desk spaces, mother board area is also important for people who hate struggling with cables in tight spaces. Head room clearance above the motherboard is very importation too, again no one mentions that.

How THICK of a rad a side panel can fit while still having fans and not interfering with front panel? Ideally i'd want 480mm side mount and 360 top mount while using front just for fans for intake (if rads are exhaust). Corsair provides 54mm thick rads, but the "recommended" build for 5000d was with 30mm thick rads. I am thinking of new 48mm thick watercool rads.

No such thing as too big in my book. My CM Storm Stryker is still technically bigger than this in every direction, but this has more usable vertical space because the Stryker has a handle on top. Overall I like it, and even moreso in white. It is a bit pricey though, and I think this is a downside to case manufacturers moving to tempered glass for windows - would've been £50-100 cheaper back in the days when the sides were metal & plastic.

A slightly bigger 5000T that can fit 3 140mm fans on all panels (+1 140 in the rear) + a 420mm aio top mounted, now THAT would have been glorious. Instead we got this fugly cross between a garbage bin and a gym locker that probably reeks of old socks and sweaty scrotums and looks like it's been designed by somebody's grandma in the 1800s. Surprised this doesn't come with a grossly overpriced Corsair ARGB-crochet gimmick, seriously. The 5000T clearly shows they have people capable of making visually appealing designs, so I absolutely cannot fathom why they hired the same guy who designed all the soul-crushing Communist housing blocks in the UDSSR to design this case series. This thing is so ugly it can star in a horror movie for crying out loud!
