This headset seems to be in the same price and spec range as the "HyperX CloudX Flight for Xbox" and the "LucidSound LS35X". Has anyone been able to compare these three? How does the Corsair hold up against the other two?

The Lucidsound has terrible build quality. A lot of users have issues with that headset.

the cloud flights are fantastic, but if you want a premium feel/build than i would look elsewhere. But if you’re going solely for sound, comfort, and mic quality, then i would 100% recommend it.

Some are complaining that this headphone is bricked and there is no clear support from corsair... Did you face any connection issues?

Not heard about bricking, but Corsair support is okay from what I've heard so replacements shouldn't be a problem. I did have a continuous beep problem that's been quiet common, of which Corsair put out a firmware update in iCUE to fix this. I had this problem once, but because my unit was an early sample I couldn't update it and my only option was to let the battery run out. Its been fine since though.

Did u ever use virtuoso? I own one for my pc and I use it for audio only for my Xbox by using an aux. I join parties off the Xbox companion app on my pc via wireless dongle. Do u think it’s be worth it for me to buy this one as I play most of my games on Xbox? And do U think owning 2 headsets make sense? One for my Xbox and one for pc. Sorry I asked so much just wanted some advice.

HS75’s has 7.1 surround sound. Arctis 9x only has 5.1. I love the 9X’s but they also aren’t very durable and crack and break for a lot of people before even a year of having them. Mine are currently duck taped like shit lol. Corsair is $50 cheaper too.

I’m confused on how Dolby Atmos works. Since it’s included with this headset, does that mean you have to pay for it for a headset that doesn’t include it but is compatible, like a Steelseries?

I believe it is the same as the Arctis 9x. It is Dolby Atmos compatible but you still have to own Dolby Atmos on Xbox. You don’t have to rebuy Dolby Atmos though.

Hate to break it to you, but they aren't very good. I purchased them and the Stealth 700, and the Stealth sound way better...it's not even close. 75's are ok, just not great. They feel and look nice though

I have these, I would probably take the gamble on the Razer. The 75's are pretty flat, I don't know why people keep praising them. They feel like they should be priced in a category below, they don't sound as good as the Stealths

Unfortunately I have to return mine as they are disconnecting now and bricking. I've tried to update with Icue firmware v 3.6/3.8 and 4.0 and nothing works. It doesn't even show it. Have tried on multiple PCs too

I was literally about to purchase the Steelseries Arctis 9X the other day, heard reports of wireless issues and "only" 40mm drivers, had a look at the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2, 50mm drivers but even more issues around them. I brought these instead. 50mm and openbacked which helps immensely ATMOS sound positioning, and soild wireless connection. Probably the best true wireless Xbox headset on the market right now. I had the PS5 Pluse 3D headphones plugged into my Xbox controller, since my Astro A50's are awful now since the firmware update. Quite disappointing in Sony new 3D Tempest sound engine on PS5, not a patch on Dolby ATMOS.

Had the Stealth 700 Gen 2 and they bricked after a week. Got the Arctis 9x and had them for 3 hours. Both the stealths and 9x had connectivity issues, and the bass on the 9x was piss poor compared to the stealths. How’s the bass/sound quality compare to the stealths? I know really likes them.

@@LazyFaux5656 I was tempted by the Razer Kaira Pro, 50mm and Bluetooth 5.0. I've had various Razer products over the years and they just don't last. The Corsair have good bass, had a few nades go off in Black Ops:Cold War, 4 EQ settings if you want more punch, what did it for me was the openbacked cans. Ideally for competitive play you what to tone down the low end and bring up the top end without it becoming "tinny". When I don't need to talk to people I use a pair of Openbacked Philips fidelio x2hr plugged into Yamaha Rx-V6A Dolby ATMOS AVR.

@@LazyFaux5656 The Stealth bass is far better. The 75's are decent, however the bass and highs don't touch the Stealth. I would stick with Stealth, had mine for 3 weeks with few issues and use them heaps.

Definitely not. I have both, the 75's are decent, but nothing special whatsoever. The Stealths have deeper, cleaner bass and clearer highs. It's just a better headset, the 75's are way to expensive for the sound they offer.

I also have this issue using it with a Series X. It sounds amazing at times, then crackles and cuts out. I have reached out to Corsair about how to do a reset on the headset, but the instructions they gave me did not reset the headset. It seems like a driver issue to me.

I heard that from some people this headset sounds too bass heavy. I wish I could hear it for myself, but I’ve liked Razer headsets like the Kraken and people said that’s bass heavy so I’m still undecided on picking this up since I really love the look of it and simplicity to it.

I think it depends on what profile you use. Out of the box and without a profile it's not too bass heavy at all. I use it daily and love it, even on profile four

Do not buy corsair. I purchased the corsair headset HS 75XB in December 2020 under one year ago. The headset has now started to freeze and the battery runs out after 1 hr. I contacted corsair who said they would do a warranty claim. I submitted all the information that the corsair website warranty information says that they need. Only the receipt and the serial number is required for a claim. I was then asked to send a photo of a part number. This part number is apparently ment to be on a sticker on the corsair headset around the band that goes around your head. I have never seen the sticker and if the part number is so important why would it not be stamped into the headset. So because of the part number sticker not being on the headset my warranty claim has been rejected. Do not buy corsair that do not honour there warranty.

Based on other Reviews this is about $30 too high. You can get Arctis 7X for same price and it comes with Adapter to run on PC in the Box.. Also has Software to Modify Sound to your Liking. this does not.. Drop the Price $30 and include Adapter and you have a sellable product..

I'm pretty pissed they didn't add Bluetooth especially for a headset in 2020 & I don't 5hink there even a 3.5 mm headphone jack . I'm looking to update my head set for Series X & im using the Turtle Beach Elite 800X right now . But series X won't have a optical audio port & I also want a headset that allows me to switch between my Dolby Atmos sound system in my Bed room easily without having to change a ton of setting , thankfully with headsets now using XBOX direct connection. I'm trying to make up my mind between these ( the Corsair HS75 XB ) & the ( Steel series Arctis 9X ) which are really the only 2 Decent headsets on the market in my opinion. for $150 I'd expect 100% Bluetooth & maybe a 3.5MM headphone jack. But the build Quality is Great , made with good materials

I think adding the Atmos bumped the price quite a bit. The Arctis 7X is that price and doesn't have Bluetooth of 3.5mm jack either 🤷‍♂️ so adding both of those to either headset would just raise the price even more.
