@Mobi666Күн бұрын
@@amsTECHandGAMING Well I got the answer... YES, you can connect the AIO lcd/pump cable to other fans! You don't need to connect the pump to the link hub. I just did it myself in my new NZXT H9 flow build... I use 13 fans and all of them are connected with only 1 link hub! The AIO pump goes to the 3 radiator push fans. Those go to the 3 radiator pull fans (360 rad is mounted at the top of the case), these go to icue link hub port 1. Then I have a 120m back exhaust fan, which is connected via long cable to the side mounted 3x120 intake fans, those are connected via short cable to the 3x120 bottom mounted intake fans, and those go to icue link hub port2. All fans are detected by icue and work fine.

I have the 360mm titan with the lcd cooler. Got tired of dealing with custom loops for the past 10+ years and just wanted something that was fire and forget. This thing really isnt much less of a temp difference from my loop with two 360mm rads, however my gpu was also in that loop so all things considered custom loop still wins. However this is still a great cooler. Too bad icue software seems to go in a wave of decent update to terrible update.

@medovk14 күн бұрын
i saw a few reviews for LX fans, seem like they are very very good for radiators. probably would be best to get the older model that comes with qx fans, use those for the case and 3 lx for the radiator.
@JustKelsey14 күн бұрын
@@medovk yea thats why im hoping they'll release an AIO with the LX fans - its better and cheaper than the QX. and for build symmetry
@medovk14 күн бұрын
@ lx have more static pressure thats needed for radiators, qx have more case airflow and look a bit better so its a mixed bag. at least they look similar enough to be used together, so i would just stick to qx for the case. its very hard to put together parts that make sense visually and actually perform well these days… i like the corsair icue link system and software but the AIOs themselves are always at the bottom stack in benchmarks.

@@JustKelsey H170i with QX fans are out of stock and my BlackFriday order was also canceled. Hi can you use this cooler with the LCD with Lian Li fans? For some reason I don’t have the option of the gifs. I cannot change anything on the LCD screen. I have everything connected exactly like you did but with Lian li fans but the icue software is not showing me the screen option.
@TheProvokedPrawn8 күн бұрын
You won't be able to control Lian Li fans with iCue. You have to use L Connect
@WynterSkyy8 күн бұрын
@ No I wasn’t trying to control the fans through the icue software. I was having trouble with setting gifs on the icue software. The option is not there for me. However I think I figured out where I went wrong. I had to rewatch your video a few times and googled it and realized I didn’t use the mini usb-c cord also. I thought that cord was only if you use the Corsair fans but because I’m using Lian li I didn’t plug it in. Ultimately my issue was that I was supposed to plug both cords into the pump in order for the lcd screen to work properly.

How can Icue Link Hub controll 12 devices per channel (instead 7 as its writted originally), if hardware is limited to 7A per channel? For example QX fans may draw up to 1A, meaning that is why Hub was limited to 7 devices per channel. I understand rhat RX/LX fans draw much less, but it is still incorect to say that hub fully supports 12 devices per channel. I would say 7 Amps per channel.
@@TheProvokedPrawn Thank you. But I still think, since it's a software "update", not the hardware, better to use 7+7 combination (that is actually why I've got Icue Link 4-way adapter), to connect 6 devices per each each channel, instead of doing 9+3. I was building inside Lian Li o11d EVO RGB with "maximum" setup: H170i (includes 3x 140mm QX) + 3x 140mm QX on the side (actually it barely fits there with one cable connected on the top of these fans, and you have no option to daisy chain it from the bottom to connect case bottom fans. Thats why I needed the adapter. It also barely fits in 420mm AIO with brackets when 140mm fans are on the bottom (mother board have to be installed in upper position or you wont be able to get acces to MB bottom connectors) + one 120mm QX rear. Waiting for Asus Astral 5080 OC and that will be the combo setup with 14 fans in total 😂
@TheProvokedPrawn11 күн бұрын
I've asked and had the official response from Corsair on this: "We reduced the amount of power we supplied per channel to support the extra devices. While QX could draw more power, running the fans at full brightness was not required, hence the support for 12 devices per channel. For full details you can mail Corsair support."
