Corsair Virtuoso Wireless SE Review: Looks good and feels good, but worth it?

The Corsair Virtuoso Wireless SE is an expensive gaming headset with a wonderful mic, decent audio, good battery life, and a comfortable sturdy build. Most of what it does is done just as well by considerably cheaper gaming headsets, but it still makes for a pretty compelling package.

Love my CORSAIR, after endless problems with numerous pairs of @Razer Nari headphones - with Razer USBs forever going wrong - I’ve had many months perfect use of my @Corsair Virtuoso and love them.

Great video - watched it after I purchased the headset lol - but glad I still stopped by to check it out. Can definitely agree that it has a wonderful ear seal, cannot hear myself type on my mechanical Hyper X keyboard at all anymore! Sound fidelity is great for boomers like myself and the long battery life is a wonderful addition for when I am repeatedly walking around the house on Zoom calls for work on the daily. Would recommend!

Looks fantastic, the build quality is better than other $1000 headphones, the sound for music is meh that's why I use the Virtuoso for games and the Audio technica M40X for music

@@aby9x I literally tried everything and nothing helped it at all, even tried a second pair. It's just not a good headset. I hated it sound. Very muffled absolutely no bass and the more bass a song has the more muffled it sounded. Only thing that sounded good on it was like disney music. Even talked to their customer service. Even had super bad crackling sounds in game. Was a mess of a headset for me. I returned it and got a razer kraken kitty! Mucchhh better sound imo as being bass lover and also a lot cheaper

@@Tony_zr for one they were a gift. I didn't buy them myself. Someone bout them for me. Most reviews by actual reviews all say these headset are the best hence why they were bought for me. Normal people who actually use them all say differently. It's like all the reviews aren't being honest with their reviews

why are people saying it feels good. I just got mine and I am pretty disappointed. Feels stiff and doesn't hug around my ears well at all. Like there's a gap, I don't think there should be. It's really stiff, everything about it is stiff, it feels hard, not comfortable at all

lets break down what you missed. The foam is not memory foam contrary to belief its normal foam which also settles after about 3 hours to make your ears touch the non angled drivers and head touch the metal headband creating horrid comfort. Ears are oval the cups are round nobody enjoys this type of ear cup. The mic is by far the best of ANY wireless headset hands down and top 3 even including wired which says a lot. It has absolutely zero bass, even using EQ and even not using icue and going equalizer apo and peace eq they still dont hit for shit. the SE is legit cosmetic and a worthless upgrade over the standard as the larger mic capsule does absolutely nothing when freq response is actually physically checked on recordings and sound is identical. The hinges on the ear cups are cheap and after about 8 months give or take of use they WILL snap off as has happened to any user of these. Beyond that your at least in the ballpark. Note this coming from someone that has also owned but not reviewed just about every major headset out there. Thanks
